Swarna Mamgain I am about to complete the book and i must say, it makes you see the world, wide open. Such a fantastic book, the more i read the more i fall in love with it. Swami Yogananda has described spirituality easier way with interesting and heart moving Chronicles. And Babaji is just amazing!!! The book focuses on spirituality as a wider term which is universal and over religion...

Love this book. Infact i have purchased another book which is kind of sequel to this "Apprentice to Himalayan Master"... i hope it is more fascinating!!!

Marcelo I loved it too! I specially like the way he tells the stories of holly men and women with special abilities. Just amazing. As a meditator myself (but not Krya as he taught but transcendental meditation) many of the things thar are said in the book I'm able to experience daily.
Fantastic story.

Jacquie I read this book many years ago and even now recommend it as one of the best books for spiritual enlightenment. His Self Realisation Fellowship teachings are also excellent.

Deepika Pathak I read the book twice and I will read it again later; each read will bring in something new I am sure! There is another book 'The Divine Romance' which I love simply because it is very simple and applies to your everyday life!

Sagheer Afzal Hi everyone

I have read the book and found it to be a fascinating read. But a question I would like to ask you all?
Do you not thing that some of the events described in the book were just too fantastical to be true? Do you really think they all happened?

Marcelo All true my friend. All true.
Take a look at this webpage http://www.amazingabilities.com/ pretty cool. Check out the indian guy that does not eat. He is an example. Search for levitating saints and you will see some catholics who could fly (levitate) there are many stories. I believe those things anyway.

Sagheer Afzal Hello Everyone

Hi Marcelo

I have no doubt that there are levitating saints etc. But there was a chapter in the book devoted to the resurrection of his guru Sri Yukteswar who miraculously appears and goes on to tell Paramahansa that he is inhabiting an astral plane where there are fairies and fish who can take the shape of people?
Are you really telling me hand on heart that you believed that when you read it?

Marcelo Well...that kinda of pushes it a bit. I wouldn't know. We'll never know I guess.

Goswami Hardik I bow to every religion and respect everyone with humbleness , but as my dear @sagheer said regarding , all about shi yukteshwar resurrection and stories , i just currently accept that this might be true not creating controversies but , in span of time when i feel the truth , when i experience the truth thats what i beleive ,in context of religion and spirituality, The only truth is truth you feel. I will try my best to have beautifull experiences.
