I downloaded Glimpses too. Do you recommend any story in particular for Silva? He has a few. I'd like to read something of all three authors - Herbert too - this coming month.

I hope Stephen King lives to be 110 and continues to write for as long as his mind remains sharp.

Rick Hautala a great guy. I think he was the first writer that I talked to on GR. I read Mountain King and asked him a question and we wound up talking about that book and dozens of others. He talked about a writer having the courage to write a book the way that it demanded to be written. I will look for those emails and post them if anyone is interested. Advice from a master.
He loved pulps and we talked about John Carter of Mars and Carson of Venus. He introduced me to James Lee Burke and Joe Lansdale. We talked about the election, holidays, lots of stuff. He won the Bram Stoker lifetime achievement award yet was such a nice and accessible guy and a true fan of dark fiction.
I never met him but he treated me like a friend.
As far as his books I would recommend both The Little Brothers or the more complete edition Untcigahunk, which has some short stories afterward

I also recommend The Mountain King

I saw you two chatting on a couple of reviews and I thought that was very cool of Rick to do.
