James Herbert - Rats

I read Rats last week, Lair this weekend, and now Domain. Books are lots of fun, a little dated, but quite well written. Thought I would check Herbert out before reading The Fog and am now hooked. I am not sure if the sex scenes were absolutely necessary, but, ahem, I didn't mind. Kind of reminded me of the mivies Willard, Ben, and Frogs. It is fun discovering a new author!

I also liked The Rats quite a bit and The Fog was awesome.Survivor is also a good one.

Eric,you might want to give a try.I found it similar to early Herbert,especially The Fog.

It's a trilogy.I've only read the first two.I didn't think second one was quite as good but was still interesting enough that i want to see how it all concludes.

He also write's the zombie series .They have been on my TBR pile for years now,I'll need to get to them soon.
