I'm not sure what a "Knickerbocker" is, much less sure how to wear it. I think it's a basketball team -- and maybe a beer of yesteryore.

P.S. Yes, I wore blankets for capes before tripping over them and crashing into the banister.

David | 4568 comments "Knickerbockers" (knickers), were short pants for boys, usually tucked into long socks.

"Knickers" in the Commonwealth are ladies' unmentionables, which one should avoid getting in a twist.

There used to be a Ruppert Knickerbocker Beer. I grew up near the brewery. About once a month, it emitted an odor like boiled cabbage.
