Worldcat only lists PH Kritzinger as author.
I'm not very experienced at non-Dutch books, so leaving this for someone else.

I didn't even notice #2.

In the Shadow of Death by P.H. Kritzinger was published in 1904 and is well out of copyright.

Since the H.P. Kritzinger edition was published by IndyPublish.com in 2007, I suspect one of two things happened:

1. Someone is trying to cash in on a public domain work.

2. Someone wrote an adaptation of the book.

Unfortunately, I can't find any previews for this book so I can't really tell which it is.

It is credited to H.P. Kritzinger everywhere I can find information on it and it's clearly H.P. on the cover - I would probably leave it uncombined unless we can find definitive proof one way or another.
