"you only said eat. You didn't say it had to be cooked." He started a small fire. "but i suppose I'll have to cook it anyway." He held his hand it for the meat.

Ryan glared "now that was uncalled for. I was only trying to lighten your obvious bad mood." He huffed .
She sighed,"im sorry, I'm just a worrier"
"its fine. But i am a grown man you know."
"don't apologize. You're only concerned. I was going to cook up breakfast for you and James anyway." He smiled at her as he cooked the deer meat.
"I can help you know . I wasn't always what I am now"
"i know. But i want to do this for you." He told her
"but i want to." He chuckled. "why don't you go relax?"
"I don't know how. Before kashburn took me I was always with my sister and Afterwards I spend my time resenting him and trying to find ways to escape. I honestly don't know how"
"hmm..." Ryan went to her and took her hand, leading her to the living room. "first sit down." He told her. "I'll make you some tea and, if you're good, I'll give you a foot massage." He smiled kindly at her.
"Why don't you talk with me instead?"she asked him
"after i get you tea." He compromised. He went to the kitchen and made tea with heated water and trees leaves before coming back with two cups of hot tea. He gave her one and sat in chair near hers.

"a woman should know when to relax." He shrugged. "is their anything you want to talk about with me?"
"What is it that you do Ryan?is it like Ruark?"
"no, absolutely not." He told her then shrugged. "i sell little things i make from time to time for coin. Like jewelry or tools or hot tea." He gestured to her cup. "but i only buy things i can't find or make on my own. Like clothes. I mostly live by myself. In a cabin not too far from here." He told her, sipping his tea.
He shook his head "I'm not exactly... Great, with women." He blushed lightly, rubbing the back of his neck embarrassedly.
"I think your very good with women"she told him sipping her tea
He blushed brighter. "what in earth makes you say that?" Ryan asked, surprised by her statement.
"Well I think your wonderful and I'm a women
"r-really? You do?" He asked, looking astonished. "i haven't done much though..." He Ryan said, seeming a bit confused.
"You have dons plenty Ryan"she said giggling lightly,"what do you think it would take ?"
"money and good looks and charm." He said. "i don't have any of those."

he blushed when she giggled at him."oh." Ryan looked away sheepishly.
"Also one who's nice and not bossy."
He shrugged "i have no reason to be mean it bossy, so why would i be?"
"Many are without reason. Just because it's nice to have someone to order around
He shook his head "those men would be idiots."
"well, i am not one of them."
"Good"she replied with a smile,"do you like your job?"
"it keeps me busy so i suppose i do." He shrugged. "i noticed you have the deer skin. Why don't i make you something. My sewing isn't the best but i think i could manage." He smiled kindly at her.
"That's very kind of you"she said surprised
"is there anything you would like? Maybe i should make you some pants. They're not exactly lady like but much better to wear when living in the woods than a dress." He shrugged.
"I can sew myself"she replied,"but it is nice of you to offer
He nodded. "alright, if you're sure."

He nodded "that's very nice of you." Ryan smiled. He finished his tea and reached his hand out for her cup. "are you finished?"
"no, its fine." He took her cup, smiling softly as he went to the kitchen and set the cups on the sink.
He came back and sat down. "so tell me, how did Ruark manage to get a woman like you to fall for him?" He asked jokingly, chucking.
"He kissed me"she blushed,"he challenged me abd I love it
