Ruark smiled and picked James up, carrying him in his hip as he waggled out of the cabin with his family.

Ruark frowned and cursed. he set James down "hide, and stay silent. You too Anna." He whispered to them. The sisters could see then yet so when they got to them, they would only find Ruark.

"Anna, please protect James." Ruark pleaded.

She hesitated,"they want me theynwoll hurt you

"i don't care, just hide. Please Anna." He begged her, hearing the marching come closer. He looked at James "take mommy and hide, okay?" A note of fear for them rising in his voice.

Ruark looked after them before standing tall and strong as the soldiers surrounded him. Kashburn himself came out of the mass of armored men.

"where is she?" Kashburn demanded coldly.

"who?" Ruark asked, playing dumb.

Kashburn's temper flared "my wife you bastard!" He lunged st Ruark with his sword.

Ruark dodged but Kashburn hit him in the face with the butt of his sword, sending him to the ground.

[Ayesha]

"Where is daddy?"James whispered as Ana covered his mouth,"shh love, hell
Come by soon"she said softly

Kashburn pointed his sword at Ruark's throat. "i should slash your throat right here." He snarled.

Ruark spat some bloodied spit into the gras as he smirked. "but you won't. If you did, and would never forgive you."

Kashburn glared "where is she?"

Ruark turned serious. "you'll never find her. I won't let you." He told him coldly.

"and you'll regret that statement. All i have to do is hurt you a little and she'll come running to save you."

"you're wrong. She wouldn't leave James alone like that."

"maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong." Kashburn smiled darkly. "why don't we find out?" He raised his sword to stab Ruark in the shoulder.

Ruark rolled and started running only to be shot from behind with an arrow. He let out a cry of pain.

She held onto James tightly, from thetree they were on ot could be heard easily and it killed her not to go out as guards surrounded him all bows pointing at him and kashburn deciding his life

Ruark shaky reached behind himself and pulled the arrow free. He glared at Kashburn. "you can't kill me. You know you can't it you ever wasn't a ghost of a chance at getting Anna."

Kashburn sneered "unfortunately you're right." He came up and grabbed him roughly by the hair. "but maybe u could just cripple you. Confine you to a chair for the rest of your life." He growled.

Ruark stayed silent.

"so i would shut up if i were you." Kashburn threw him to the side, letting him spoil onto the grass. "Someone bind him! We're going back to the castle." The king ordered bitterly.

Ruark surrendered to the guards. He only cared that Anna and James were safe.

"Where are they taking him!?!ge didn't do anything wrong!!!"

"She"she whispered softly covering his mouth,"we will get him back

Ruark glanced up at the tree, giving them a short reassuring smile before letting the oblivious king and his guards take him.

She fought to keep James from running after them scared herself for him

"We will go back to the cabin and your going to take a nap and let me figure this out"shensaidn rubbing the necklace around her neck for reassurance edits puck in hi the boy and slowly leading him back

Her eyes widened when she saw the door open," climb a tree and wait for me" she whispered to James picking up a big peice of wood Ruark had got for a fire slowly inching towards the door

Ryan heard something and tensed, pulling out his knives. "Ruark?" He called.

She walked the other way around silently, he was In the kitchen which had who entrances. From behind she hit his head hard to knock him out scared. She quickly found rope and got to world dragging him to the bed so when he woke up she could speak to him without being hurt

Ryan groaned as he woke up. "bloody hell that hurt." He groaned. He blinked his eyes at Anna "and what was that for?" He asked, a little miffed now.

" who are you and whet do you want?" She asked holding the wood ready in her hands

"oh, would you put that down!" Ryan growled "I'm here to help Ruark, his wife and son. Where are they?!" He glared.
