Ruark held him "hey, sorry for waking you." He kissed the small boy's head "why don't you go back to sleep?"
"Is everything okay daddy?you look worried"
Ruark smiled "everything is fine. You're the one that looks worried." He chuckled, ruffling his hair.
"You wont send me away from you right?"he mummered
"of course not." He hugged him. "why would i do that?"
"Just making sure"he hugged him smiling
Ruark chuckled and looked at Anna. "now, please tell me what's wrong."
"You need to chanhe rooms. He have you your own"
Ruark frowned "what do you mean our own room?" He shook his head. "ever since he found out he's become a complete-" he stopped, not wanting to cuss in front of James. He started to whisper. "when are we going to run away?" He asked, remembering that they had briefly talked about it before.
"When it's safe for you. Once those people find out kashburn is alive they will be mad..."
"the best time to to would be now." He took her hand "we can do it. I'll protect both of you."
He shrugged "I'm more worried about you two." He said honestly.
"don't. If anything, worry for James." He stood, still holding James and kissed her forehead.

He just smiled at her "i can't protect you of i don't protect myself as well, right? Don't worry." He took her hand and led her towards the secret passageway in her wall.
She followed him after slipping on shoes and grabbing her mothers necklace before following
Ruark opened the passage and smiled warmly at her "we can be a family now." With that he entered to the passageway with her and closed it behind them.
"Yes.."she smiled softly holding James hand

Ruark had found them a secluded cabin in the woods. "James, look after Anna while i go hunt." He told him, teasing Anna. "I'll be back in about two hours."
She kissed him softly,"be safe"she said softly
"its just hunting." He murmured. "I'll be back before you know it." Ruark left with a confident smile.
She turned back to James talking with him
Later Ruark came back, carrying a large deer on his shoulders.
"Oh my"she was telling James a story and helped him mayIt down
Ruark smiled "this should last us a few days." He took out a knife. "James, you don't need to watch this." He told him.
"I wanna learn!""I can do that you look tired. Too much in one day...."
Ruark shook his head "I'm fine and no James. You're not old enough yet."
"No fair!!!ana told me stores abou a farm all day can't I try!?! She said how!!!"
"both of you, please go inside. I just need to soon the deer and cut up the meat. Maybe later we can all go look for wild roots and vegetables."
"Okay daddy!"he said as Ana kissedHis cheek and took the boy inside
Ruark started skinning the buck.
He bright in the skin and chunks of meat from the deer. "maybe i could make you a nice deer skin dress." Ruark smirked.
She laughed,"or I could make you a coat"she told him
Ruark pouted "but love, that would be no where near as sexy." He kissed her cheek "I'm sure Kashburn is still going out of his mind searching for us."

"Only him. He won't hurt me. Maybe force a child in me but he wouldn't hurt me like he would you. And even of the guards doubt get us I assume your boss will be upset when he finds out the kid is alive
