"i don't care. I don't want you hurt." He set the boy on his bed and grabbed some cotton and small bandages.
"Will you tellMe about your adventures this time daddy?"
He smiled. "actually, i will." He began cleaning and wrapping his scrapes and cuts. "i had to hide and watch the king. He was a mean man. He forced a woman to marry him."
He gasped,"did you stop himDaddy?dod you save the lady??"on his eyes Ruark was a hero
"no, i was too late. They got married. But, when she was alone i went to her she sore with her. I made her smile and i made her happy." He smiled "i fell in love with her and she with me." He leaned in and whispered to him "i even told her about you. She really wants to meet you, James."
He gasped excited,"does that mean I have a mummy now?can we be a family together daddy??"
Ruark nodded, smiling broadly. "but you have to be quiet. No one else can know."
He hugged him "thank you." ((can we fast forward to queen he's educating with hashes and resurrected Kashburn?))
After giving Kashburn the antidote, Ruark grabbed James and they began to escape.
"What's going on daddy? Why did you give him that??"janes whispered confused when he saw
"because i had to." He sighed "but don't worry, everything is Hong to be okay." He smiled at James. "but, i need you to be quiet for daddy, okay?"Kashburn watched them with a combination of awe and amusement. Want Ruark suppose to be a ruthless assassin? But he loved Anna and James so much, it was a but hard to see...
"Okay!what do you want me to write??"he asked glaring at the bad man

Kashburn rose an eyebrow at the boot as they escaped.Once out of danger Ruark smiled "thank you James. You did a very good job."
Kashburn sighed "can i return home now?"
Ruark rolled his eyes "yes WE can." He began to lead them towards the castle.
Jes gasped when he saw it wide eyes and awestruck by the size
"ready to meet the fearful woman i told you about?" Ruark smiled.Kashburn frowned "are you talking about Anna?"
Ruark nodded "yes, that's mommy's name."Kashburn frowned deeper "why us that colds calling my wife his mother?" He asked through clenched teeth.
Ruark looked at Kashburn coldly "because that's exactly what she is." By now they had entered the castle and the servants and guards were all in shock.
Ana was instantly told ofcourse and brought to the scene. She hugged kashburn first since he was suppose to be his husband then squeezed ruarks arm,"your ok,.."she whispered smiling at James who hid in ruarks shirt
Ruark chuckled "James, this is Anna." He smiled at Anna. "my queen, this is my son James." He stroked the boy's cheek.Kashburn told the servants about their plan and they all calmed down, glad that their king was fine.
"Hello"she said softlyJames waved shyly
"you all must be tired, I'll see you soon my king"she told him politely,"you two come with me. You all need rest and to eat afterwards"
Ruark nodded.Kashburn sighed and nodded "i will see all of you at dinner." With that he left to take care of some business.
Ruark smiled at James "say hello to mommy." He whispered to his son.
"H-hello..."he stuttered shylyShe smiled at him warmly,"what's your name hon?"
He looked at his dad
Ruark chuckled "there's no need to be shy." He kissed his head and smiled apologetically at Anna.
She nodded understandingly as James stomach rumbled"Why don't we go into my room? I'll get you some food and you can rest "he said the last oars to Ruark
Ruark nodded, following Anna to her bedroom.
She told a maid to bring food up on the way closing the door behind Ruark,"areYou alright?"
Ruark nodded "I'm fine." He quickly pulled her close and kissed her gently. He pulled away and set James on the bed. "welcome to your new home little man. Well, at least for now."
Ruark laughed "yep, in this nice big castle with your daddy and queen Anna." He ruffled James' hair. "think you can handle that?" He teased.
He nodded excitedly clapping his handsShe smiled skfy
"good." Ruark smiled them looked at Anna "do you think you could ask a servant to get him some nice clean clothes?" He turned his attention back to James "because you are going to take a warm bath. We need to clean you up." He picked him up and carried him towards the bathroom.
"Dad! I take my own baths!"he rxvlaimed muttering ,"Your embarrassing me in front of a girl"Anna nodded holding back a laugh,"I'll get him some clothes
"i don't want you to drown." He chuckled rifling his hair "and thank you Anna." He set James down in the bathroom and got the hot water for his bath. "airtight, strip." He said as he poured the water into the tub.
"exactly why i said i don't want you to drown." He smirked and once the boy was unclothed he picked him up and set him in the nice hot water.
He looked so amazed,"daddy!!its warm!!"he hesitantly splashed a bit
"hey, you can play with the water after you're clean." He laughed, staring to scrub his son down.
"stay still." Ruark whined. "now for your hair!" He stayed cleaning James' dirty blonde hair.
Finally the boy was clean. "alright, lets dry you off" he picked James up and out of the tub, wrapping a towel around him.
Anna knocked on the door coming in with her eyes covered and clothes in ine hand,"here you go"
Ruark smiled and took the clothes, pecking her lips gently. "thank you."
Ruark helped James get changes and fixed his hair. "you look great little man." He smiled happily and led him out. "Anna, how does James look?" He asked.
