"of course! What do you think i do during all of my parties?" He laughed.
She shrugged,"I know what you so after them and that's enough for me"
He frowned. "excuse me?"
"Nevermind"she muttered,"I loved playing piano and I was taught how to fight when I was young
"maybe you could play me a song some time?" He murmured.
"I'll make you a deal,I'll play you something of you let me go out for a walk"
"with a guard." He added.
"it's just a precaution, love." He assured her. "please."
He sighed. "oh my-never mind." He stood. "no, you can't go for a walk." He exited the dining room, muttering to him self.
She groaned and sighed offering an apple to one of the servers that looke hungry
The young servant hesitantly took it and smiled gratefully at sapphire. "thank you my Queen" they bowed respectfully to her.
"It's my pleasure"she replied kindly as she got up to head up to her room,"thank you for the amazing dinner. It was lovely
The servants all bowed their heads respectfully to her."let us go, m'lady." A guard escorted her back to her room.
"I know the way. Is there nothing you could be doing instead of following me as if you were pups"
The guard frowned "we're only doing our given job: protecting you." He informed her "we have Intel that their is an assassin on the loose. His name is Ruark." He sighed "just please be careful, my Queen?" The guard looked at her.
He led her to her room and opened the door for her.
The guard nodded before closing it behind her. He didn't lock it this time but stood guard outside.
She saw this as a perfect opportunity. Sjbfoudnbthe highest heels in the closet an silently opened th door before she hit the guard hard on his head with the shoe knocking him out
The guard crumpled to the ground."that wasn't very nice." Ruark said from behind her.
She swung the show as she spin around towards Ruark expecting another guard hitting his neck hard bit no hard enough to have lasting damage
He winced and quickly took the show away from her "what are you trying to do!? Kill someone!?" He scolded before putting his playful smile back on "so how was dinner?"
"I tried to be nice and he called me his love so I think I might just stick to visibly hating him"she muttered,"who are you anyway?rumplestiskin? "
"um, isn't him calling you love good?" He rose an eyebrow "and no, I'm cuter than rumplestiltskin."
"That's highly debatable and your own opinion doesn't count"she told him ignoring the last part,@who are you?"
"I'd rather not say. If i tell you i might have to kill you." He sighed "so troublesome."
"Troublesome is my middle name, what your point. And if you don't tell me I'll scream and in the end I'd have killed you
He pouted "it looks like i do have to kill you." He said sadly "i can't have you warning the king I'm here." He suddenly grabbed her ark and pulled her close holding his poison dagger to her throat. "oh and by the way, my name is Ruark."
"I'd be quiet if i were you. This dagger is coated with poison." Ruark smiled. "if i so much as scratch you you'll die." He said cheerfully.
She rely quiet bit was trying to escape,"let me p
"don't struggle so much." He pouted "i might accidentally cut you."
She thought for a moment and her hands went behind her and he unzipped his pants without him noticing and grabbed his crutch,"move away the blade or I will break you"
Ruark frowned. "that's not very ladylike." He pressed the daggers against her skin. "besides, if i actually wanted to kill you you would be dead by now." He smiled "i am an assassin after all." Now, just tell me you won't warn the king of my presence and I'll go."
"In my defends you aren't being a gentlemen yourself and tell me again why I would keep this from my husband???"
"from what i can tell, you hate him. He forced you to marry him right?" He rose an eyebrow "so don't warn him and he'll be out of your life soon enough."
"Fine"she replied quietly,"I won't tell him"she muttered
"good." He pulled away from her, fixing his pants. "now I'll be going."
"Tell me how you got into my room"she asked him as she moved away
"I'm sorry, i can't do that." He smiled politely at her, putting away his blade.
He kissed her cheek "nope." He spun her towards her bed and pushed her onto it before leaving silently again.
She groaned and swore score going to wash her hands
Ruark secretly watched her, making sure she wouldn't do anything rash.
She sighed and called for another guard telling him she needed to speak with the king
