How death of loved ones changes family dynamics

This book isn't upbeat, but the characters are so real. It may take a few chapters to really get into, but I found myself thinking about the people afftected by the woman's death. There was nothing romantic about it--but my heart hurt for all who felt so lost after. It was also realistic how when feeling lost, the biggest mistakes can be made. Until we go through something like this, it is so easy to judge.
