Bobby, being a democratically selected book of the month club, there are a lot of books that just haven't made it. Some have been on polls many times and their day has still yet to come! But we encourage folks to help us get books onto polls so we can all enjoy great books together! Looks like you have a bunch to look forward to ^^

Anyway, I kind of came into this genre pretty recently so I've only read 7 books that the club has read.
Spinning Silver
The Hobbit
Brave New World
Fahrenheit 451
War of the Worlds
The Gunslinger
Stranger in a Strange Land
I read some of those in Honors English in high school. I remember really liking Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World a lot! Spinning Silver I read recently and was hooked from beginning to end!
I started Good Omens, The Princess Bride, and The Fellowship of the Ring, but never finished them. I own Ready Player One but haven't started it yet.
Looking forward to reading more!

try the audio books - they're pretty good

earlier for me (the early 60s) and the challenges in this forum have raised my number to 150

Reed, I remember you having read some. but if none interest you, I'm afraid we'll be very tedious for you!

Way to go.

But now I'm adjusted and I'm eager to take on reading again!

My overall percentage still going down year by year, but at least I’m enjoying the homemade nibbles, goodies and drinkies in the clubhouse.
Good luck everyone in their reading challenges this year.

I am starting the year with 135 books read. I am not even thinking about the percentage!!

Now I'm at 75, with 99 on my TBR.
So, not a big increase, at a little less than 10 per year. I'm sure if I really tried, I could even hit 100 this year. But I'm too much of a mood reader for such challenges. Clearly what needs to happen is that we need to start picking books exclusively from my Read list. That would help me out tremendously, thank you.
lol Mel, I've been using that plan and it's been great!
Nice job, Chris, glad the robots caught that for you haha

I'm glad there are people around here to inspire.

Totally ok! Everything is ok.
0 is ok because you have lots to look forward to.
60 is ok because you probably have read some gems and are looking for more of which there are lots.
200 is ok because yikes, that is a bunch of books and you can start telling us which are the good ones.
I think the only number that is not ok is 151 since Christopher needs to read at least one more :)

It would be cool to hit that 200 mark, but I'm not sure if I'll bother making that a specific reading goal or not. I'm sure I'll eventually get there anyway.

Get 'em in there!
It's fun. Just the other day I tracked down two more books I read as a kid and added them.
It also makes for interesting charts under My Books > Stats.
My favorite is "by publication date."
