I think I'll play, but am still wavering. I started planning, and it took me 14 rolls to get to my first Community Chest. That involved 2 trips to Quarantine, and therefore 2 zombie books. And that's not one you can skip and just lose points.

Meanwhile, while I'm planning, does anyone have any hints that help searching for particular things in cover art (e.g., indulgent foods)?

But couldn't you just take the first couple fines, then your $200 would be used up, and you'd go back to Go and can start again. Since you're doing this planning before Apr. 1., it seems like you'd still be starting with a clean slate (even though no money).

Amy | 2241 comments I'm in (of course--what a great game!) and am planning my reads. For Zombie Movie Studio: Read a book which has been adapted to screen (ie. made into movies / series etc) I was thinking of reading Double Dexter, the latest in the series on which the "Dexter" Showtime show is based. Would this be okay? I ask because the SHO series has deviated quite a bit from the books as the seasons have progressed.

Just put down all the questions to the excitement that one of your games creates for us. And, YIPPEE, I can skip the reality TV one and take a hit in points! Hmmm....but I might want those points...rubbing my greedy fingers together and grinning

Well, of course, I couldn't resist one of Tien's challenges, no matter how hard I tried, and in spite of not liking zombies.

Please notice, in my message (#76), that for my COMMUNITY CHEST task, I need to ask one of you to give me a task. There's still plenty of time, since even after Apr. 1, I'll have at least 13 books to read before I can do that one. But someone please do think of one for me (and please, please, please, not another zombie book)

I'm assuming that's ok with Dee, and am posting your task here. Now, Dee needs to create a task for Karen, and Karen needs to create one for me.

Dee's task is:
Order your "To Read" shelf by "date added," ascending. Read the first book whose title begins with one of the letters in the word "ZOMBIES"(ignoring initial articles).

Karen (karenofthebookworm) Susan's Task is:
Order your 'To Read' shelf using the 'Random' option, then read the 15th book on the shelf.

Dee (austhokie) | 2695 comments Yep - lemme think on one and I'll post karens tonight

For mine - if I have multiple to-read shelves any one work?

Well, I meant the big "to-read" one, with 1116 books on it. What other one were you thinking you'd prefer?

Thanks, Karen. It came up Sweet Venom. I don't remember when or why I put it on my TBR, but it seems interesting. I wonder if I hunt far enough, I might find that it's on the "dark" shelf for next month, too.

I don't even see the pots one. Weird.

I'm sure that's ok if it has enough books on it to so there's a book that works.

Dee (austhokie) | 2695 comments here's Karen's task - the idea of the game monopoly was originally designed by Elizabeth "Lizzie" J. Phillips - for your task, read a book by an author who's first name is Elizabeth (or diminutives - i.e. Beth, Lizzie) or last name Phillips (Phillip or Philips are also acceptable)
