"Thank you," she said softly as she walked out, absently entwining her fingers with his. "I suppose this is farewell for now," she sighed.
Dallas giggled softly and nodded. "You got my number," she winked before firmly untwining their fingers.
"That I do. Bye, Dal.' he said, resisting the urge to hug her.... or something else. Don't even think it. he warned himself.
Dallas smiled, she sighed before leaning up and kisses his cheek softly, "Bye Mac," she murmured before beginning to walk off.
Mac blushed deeply. 'Uh, yeah, uh, bye!" he stuttered. He clambered onto his skateboard and started skating to school.
Dallas sighed, she hadn't really told any of her friends where she had been, even though they kept asking.
Mac bumped into someone's locker, closing the door. "Oh, sorry.' he said absently. He made his way down the hall.
Dallas bit her bottom lip before walking out to the field. 'I hate being a cheerleader sometimes..' she thought to herself with a sigh before walking over to her team absently.
Mac went to detention. Miss Plaine made him scrub all the desks in the office. He did so absently, his Mond wandering to the feeling of Dallas's hand in his.
Dallas huffed out a breath as one of her friends tossed her her practice clothes. She sighed before walking over to the dressing room. She quickly got into her practice clothes and jogged over while putting her hair into a ponytail.
Dallas scrunched up her nose as she watched some girls do some stunts. Dallas couldn't help but think about Mac, which got her into trouble cause she had zoned out.
As soon as practice ended, Dallas went back to the dressing room and got back into her regular clothes. She felt her phone buzz and took it out. She unlocked it and looked at the text, figuring it was from Mac she smiled before texting back 'Hola!'. She sighed before walking back across the field and out of the highschool after she went to her locker.
'Yeah... I live on a horse ranch owned by my family..' she texted. She glanced around as she crossed the street.
'Haha.. Yeah. Shiz... I just remember my cousin is coming from Texas with her horse today... Bleh...' she sighed as she walked on, almost to the dirt road.
"Dang." he texted back, frowning. He hopped off his skateboard and walked into his house. He slammed the already broken screen door. He webt to his room, ironically the cleanest place in the house
"Uh, this might sound weird.... but wanna see a movie sometime this week?" he typed. his finger hovered over the send button for a minute. Do it, wimp. his finger tapped it.
Dallas smiled as she read his text, Sure. I would love to(: she texted back. She sighed softly as she ran her had down the white gate that surrounded one of the pastures at the ranch. She noticed her horse out in the field, smiling brightly she whistled loudly before she began to climb over the fence. She jumped off the other side of the fence once she caught Country's attention, watching as the mare cantered over.
Sounds good to me! she texted. "Hey baby girl," she murmured as she wrapped her arms around her horses neck, hugging her. Country snorted and nuzzled her hair slightly. "Short cut home," Dallas smirked before putting her phone into her back pocket and going to Country's side. She quickly mounted Country bareback and turned her around. She clicked her tongue making Country gallop forward and across the fields.
