"No, its fine, don't worry.' Mac said automatically. "You'll be okay." he arrived at the warehouse and the nenn dialed 911
Mac stroked her hair. 'Come on, you'll be pkay.' he whispered. The ambulance came and they rushed in.
They took her into the hospital and ushered her into the ER. Mac sat in the waiting room, his leg jiggling nervously.
It was awhile before the surgery had ended and the doctor came out to Mac, and Dallas's parents that had arrived.
"She's in her room right now, but he's still unconscious," the doctor said. Her parents smiled and nodded, standing up.
The doctor nodded. Her mother looked at Mac, "We couldn't thank you enough young man.. We don't know if you were a friend of Dallas's or not, but we'll be happy to do anything you need," she said firmly through tears.
She smiled, "you're welcome to come with us to Dallas's room, I'm sure shell be grateful to see you," she said before her and her husband walked toward Dallas's hospital room.
"Mom? Dad?" She murmured, then winced in pain. Her mother rushed to her side, "Yes. We're here honey,"
Dallas frowns painfully.
Dallas bit her lip, remembering everything. She smiled lightly, "Don't tell me, Macs here?" She murmured weakly, smirking. Her mother smiled slightly and looked at Mac.
Dallas smiled and looked at Mac, "Well. You are here, I still can't believe you saved me back there," she said softly.
Dallas sighed before turning back to her mom, "Mum, when I'm I able to get out of here?" She asked softly."The doctor said hopefully by tomorrow," she replied.
Dallas nodded.
"Wait. Don't you guys have work tonight?" Dallas asked her parents."Yes.. But we were gonna stay with you overnight-"
"No mum. It's ok, I can stay you guys can leave.." Dallas sighed.
Her mom almost protested but nodded.
Dallas smiled lightly. Her mother looked at him, "You don't have to if you're busy..." She trailed off.
"Well, if you would like, then I suppose it's alright," she sighed.Dallas nodded slightly and glanced at the clock.
Dallas sighed softly before closing her eyes."Honey.. I'm afraid we must be going, we'll be with you tomorrow morning," she said.
Dallas smiled as her mom kissed her forehead, then watched as her parents walked out the door, frowning.
