Ahh I missed a lot! I would love to do another Plaidy read a long :-). It also makes me sad when great authors turn out to be not so great people, but I for one would appreciate honesty if people read and reviewed my novels.

YAY! It makes it a lot more fun to have someone to talk to about it (& I learn more, too)!
I'm glad we are organizing the topics by chapter. If it was something where we had to keep up with timeframe wise, with all of us on different schedules that doesn't work out so well.
If The Bastard King read along works out, then we'll set out some potential titles and take a vote for the next book.

That is a great idea Marie. We do that in the British Mystery group it works great. We nominate a book and vote. The person that nominated the winning book is the moderator.
Oh it's too much work to be a moderator, trust me. LOL I wouldn't do that to you guys.
Goodreads gives me fits when I try to do stuff behind the scenes, it drives me crazy.

Didn't know you were over there, Susie. I was a (silent) member for a long time and wasn't till recently that I left the group. It was a bit too structured for me, but I did enjoy the book recommendations since I do love my British mysteries!

Trust me being the moderator in that group is a piece of cake, they don't do anything! Marie, your idea of just listing the chapters and having a discussion is really sophisticated by comparison :-).Michele I love British mysteries too! This month they are reading The Last Detective by Peter Lovesy and The Janus Stone by Elly Griffiths. I read Janus Stone and almost finished with Last Detective. Both Great!!!

I'm looking forward to this :) Going by chapter is very helpful and then we can all participate on our own time. Also, I tend to be a silent member (like Michele!) in a lot of Goodreads groups because I get overwhelmed by LARGE discussions, but these Plaidy readalongs are the perfect size :)
Should we put in our group description "Where lurkers come alive?" :)
@Susie, The Janus Stone has been on my wishlist for a couple of years now....glad to hear it is good!

Michele read Crossing Places first gives you the back story. It's the first of the Ruth Galloway, Janus Stone is next. Both very good, fast weekend reads.
