Ashley (icecheeseplease) Hello and Welcome!

First things first: Introduce yourself! Not here, though. Go under the 'Introductions' heading and make yourself a new thread so that your glory can be properly basked in.

There probably won't be many Announcements but if there are make sure to check those out.

Discussions are pretty self-explanatory. Don't be afraid to post, talk to each other, start a conversation :).

Check out the community blog, FWD SLASH BOOKS !

Monthly Group Read. Read the main thread and join in.

The monthly group read is the more structured of the two groups, with Annie leading the discussion and keeping things in order (and taking suggestions, of course). If Annie chooses she can ask for someone in the group to be the leader of that month's read just to change things up or if she's busy that month or whatever.

Book Support Group. Read the main thread and join in.

The Support Group is where anyone can throw out a book suggestion and try to get a couple of people to join in with them (a buddy read, if you will). There will not necessarily be a new read here every month, there could be multiple support reads going on at a time or there may not be any at all for a while. It's more flexible and open.

Also, if you have any suggestions for how to make the group better please feel free to send me or any of the mods a message.

Newsletters will be going out bimonthly and can be found in your goodreads inbox.

Newsletters will contain announcements, synopsis of the monthly good reads, popular discussions, and any other news.

Newsletters are NOT required reading.

They are helpful for members who don't like a ton of notifications, who don't have time to check in daily, yadda yadda, and would like to see what r/books is up to at a glance. As well as keeping everyone up to date.
