Well, no surprise upsets in round 1, I guess. And I see we weeded out all that literary crap. :) "Hokey sentence structure and ancient vocabulary are no match for a good blaster at your side," that's what I always say.

I voted on this round even thought I didn't know about the contest for round 1. Dune vs. The Hobbit??? Brutal! There were a few of those. Well done, man.

Though, I wanted to say it seems like "Who Goes There?" was kind of out of place. It's a short story going against one of the great science fiction novels of all time.
