No news yet... They might already have them though, they are probably just waiting to reveal the rest of the characters altogether.

I've done a little investigation and aml ameen let slip that Alexander Flores is playing Winston. ;) don't know if its true, but its something to think about in the meantime.

What's really frustrating me is Frypan. I could never get a clear image of him in my head, I have no idea what he should look like or who should play him. I wish they'd hurry up and give us a hint.
For frypan, I pictured somebody like Aziz Ansari... Only younger

Look him up, he's a comedian but he also stars in small roles for movies :) but he's too old to be frypan.. I just imaged frypan looking like him.. Apparently frypan was supposed to be Mexican or Latino, but I pictured him as Indian
I pictured him as American. Same for everyone else except the obvious Minho newt Gally (was there anyone else obvious?)
Gally was obviously what? O_o haha I know newt was white... Minho was Asian... Thomas, Teresa, gally, and pretty much everyone else I pictured American
I always pictured him Italian. Tall, black hair, big crooked nose. Named after Galileo. Sounded Italian to me.

The guy playing Newt is in the new game of thrones season 3 and I'm in love with the show, so naturally I've been watching his acting and his movements and all that, and he is a really good actor, so i'm really happy with him :') He's perfect <3

Jojin Reed. Spelt something like that. He's in the 3rd book, tho I'm only up to page 312 of the first book. But I watched the TV show aaaaaaages ago, and I've only just started reading now.

I haven't watched the shows... I think it's better that way. :) I'm always more excited when I read the books first and then watch the movie (or in this case, the show)
The show is amazing. But if you do decide to watch it, I guess you should wait until you finish the book. Although, I would have found the book very confusing if I hadn't watched the show first. All the people and families, ugh! Confusing. BACK to MR :)
No :( all Of my friends are struggling to keep up with the long reading list I've set up for them. Haha xD my boyfriend promised to read them before the movie though :)
Aw okay, so no one to talk to but us haha. Only 2 of my friends have read it. One of them loves it as much as I do, but we're not as close anymore, so we don't talk much. My other friend loved the series, but not as much as me, so it's not as easy to talk to her about it. I'd feel like I was annoying her, so I don't tell her that much about it... Anyway, so glad I met you & other MR fans on this site, somewhere I can let my excitement explode through caps :P
I tried to force some of my friends into reading it. Their reaction was something like, "Is there romance in it? It says it's like The Hunger Games." I was all, "Um... not really in this book... there's not really much romance at all... BUT it's really good!!"

If they hype up the romance - I mean its there in the first book - but only a little. If they decide to just make it more romantic to get more expected audience - which it probably would - its gonna spoil everything. I mean it has been done, ok first thing that comes to my head is Percy Jackson. They made them older to get a wider age range of audience, doing that also to put teen hormones and stuff in. Theres a deleted scene in which Annabeth says to Percy, "I definitely have feelings for you but I'm not sure if they're positive or negative yet." This is a YA book and romance isn't a really big part of it but I'm scared they'll just think, " Hey its YA teenagers want romance let's put romance in this."
So yeah that's my main fear for this movie.

What you've said makes a lot of sense. But I don't think they'll do that. So far, they decided to keep every character, and we've got an amazing cast. They've been good to us so far. I don't think they'll do that
