i just have a problem with the internet so I can't really check them normally as read and write reviews. but I will do it as soon as I'll get to normal network. sunday maybe. :))))

message 203: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) Just finished my 7th book, and will begin my 8th tomorrow. I'm hoping to have my reviews up for the last three books I've finished either tomorrow or Sunday. I'm also hoping I can at least get the 8th and 9th book finished by the end of the challenge.

message 204: by Leigh (new)

Leigh (leighsalv) wow Im only on my 2nd book lol! But it's b/c I had to read other books for book tours etc.

message 205: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) And I'm on my spring break. So I've had a lot of time to read.

message 206: by Leigh (new)

Leigh (leighsalv) Im on my spring break too :D been doing nothing but reading haha

message 207: by Tati (new)

Tati I'm really struggling with one of my books. Can I give it up and move on to the next?

message 208: by Mishma (new)

Mishma Ask your partner to edit your list Tatiana. It's allowed.

message 209: by Sabine (new)

Sabine Sorendo (sabinet) I change Tatiana's list - "Taliesin" goes to the end, everything stays the same.

Happy Easter everyone! :)

message 211: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments I have to update Kaitlin's list.

I just have to switch the arrangement of #8 to #9. So Eternal Starling becomes #8, and Catastrophic History of You will be #9. It has something to do with only one day left for borrowing it on her Kindle. Thank you!

I've been away, got to try and catch up again now!

message 214: by Pragya (new)

Pragya (reviewingshelf) Things aren't going as planned, still on my huge first book (almost 600 pages), you guys are doing awesome and I feel like a loser. :(

message 215: by Sabine (new)

Sabine Sorendo (sabinet) It's totally normal, I had difficulties with my first book too. It was so hard to push myself into reading but I had plenty of time so I just told myself I had to do it. If I wouldn't have so much time, I'd still be at my first one. Probably then I'd just put it away and sign out of the challenge.
It's hard to start reading so fast for the challenge but when you get used to it, it becomes easy. You can't enjoy books so much so much if you read them real quick though.
It will be okay, keep reading. Or ask your partner to change the order of books, maybe some of them will read faster.

yikes, a 600 page book is a killer! I'd be feeling a little downhearted too!

Don't feel bad! You won't enjoy reading if you keep on rushing yourself. Don't be pressured. Just enjoy reading because that's what matters most! :)

Maybe if this challenge will happen again in the next months, you should choose something with few pages. Hahaha.

message 219: by Pragya (new)

Pragya (reviewingshelf) Thanks Sabine, Sarah and Mei. And I'm certainly going to take that advice, Mei.

message 222: by Leigh (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Wow you guys are doing a really good job! I can't believe some of you have already finished! I've only finished the first 3 (I still need to write my review for the 3rd) and I'm reading books 4 and 5 at the same time, but neither of them are that great so I'm having a hard time with them. It doesn't help that I've barely been home since Friday! Oh well. I'm hoping I'll at least finish 5 books by the end :)

When you're done, then you're done. We're not going to expect you or your partner to pick anymore.
Maybe next time when we do this challenge we will put 15 books on the list. Some of you are really fast readers :)

Great job!

Sherry (sknack) | 95 comments Dori wrote: "I'm currently reading my last book. What happens when when we're done?"

Wow! I'm impressed Dori! I was hoping to be a lot farther than I am now, but I had others things to do too! Finishing up my 6th book and planning on starting the 7th. Not sure if I will finish that before the challenge is up. I still plan on reading all of the books I didn't finish during the challenge after the challenge.

Awesome that you finished all your books! Please post your reviews on the Clean Shelf Reviews thread. They don't have to be long, they just have to have a few relevant details. :)

It's okay Sarah! You've finished 5 books and that's awesome! I will be posting my reviews for my 3rd and 4th book later. I think I wouldn't be able to finish my 5th tho. Have fun in New Hampshire. :)

message 247: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 03, 2013 12:06PM) (new)

I really wanted to finish way more then 4 books but I have been super busy with school and work/internship plus I had 2 added books for class.

However I really enjoyed this. 3 of the books I did read I have been wanting to read for some time now. I hope when the next one comes around I will be much better.

I also had to read my 3rd before my first because I did not notice that Mimi had added it to my list and it was a library book.

message 248: by Sherry (new)

Sherry (sknack) | 95 comments Looks like I'll be ending the challenge with book #6. I don't think I'll finish #7 and get a review written before today is over.

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Sherry wrote: "Looks like I'll be ending the challenge with book #6. I don't think I'll finish #7 and get a review written before today is over."

Yeah. Think I might only have six too. I read my eighth book, but I couldn't finish my seventh. :/ it keeps putting me to sleep. Next time we do this I have to write an "out" clause in, so that we each can skip one book on our list if it's really not working out or us.

message 250: by Doruntina (new)

Doruntina | 53 comments I'm finished!!! And i want to say thanks, Sherry! Great picks! I enjoyed every book. :)
