Unknown Edition (Negima)

I am unsure of which edition of volume 2 of Negima this is supposed to be. Does anyone have any idea?

Yeah, looks like it came from worldcat at a time when the worldcat import was having some troubles:

It actually seems to be the exact same edition as this one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

It looks like they need to be combined and updated and they also seem to be the German edition.

They can't be the exact same edition if they have different ISBNs, though.

Oh, they look almost identical. But, it looks like they have the same publisher and they even have the same original pub date.

Sometimes publishers will put out two editions of the same volume simultaneously. One might have a foil cover or have been originally packaged with a toy or have some other special feature which doesn't really affect it as a book (although if it's a different cover we'd want to be sure to have the right cover matching to the right edition).

(And of course all editions of a book will have the same original publication date, but I assume you mean the same publication date for both editions, yeah?)

Oh. Duh. Multitask I cannot. (I need to focus on one thing at once). Actually, the year entered into the first edition I posted is a year that hasn't even happened yet and none of us will survive to see. So, what?

I'm just wondering how these were added and which editions they are. They seem to belong to the same publisher, but have minor differences. Are they the German editions? Should they be entered that way? Should they be combined or not since they have different ISBNs?

Combined if they are the same book in different editions, yes. Merge, no. Does that make sense?
