I found Ríos's book Poundemonium on the $1 shelf at the Village Bookshop, a Dalkey-Spine staring at me, and this author blurb: "Julián Ríos is Spain's foremost postmodernist writer." Bought it and brought it home. It is book II in his Larva series and so just last week I found book I of the series, Larva: A Midsummer Night's Babel. Weird stuff happens on the pages, the left hand page looks different than the right hand page, and these two volumes each have a selection of photos. I haven't read him yet, but I can only imagine that his books would madden the Common Reader. Four of his books available from Dalkey in their Englishing: http://www.dalkeyarchive.com/search/?...
