Title: Deadly Misfortune
Author: Dianne Greenlay
ISBN: 9781481166737 ; ASIN B00BLSRIY6
Publisher: CreateSpace
Published Date: Feb. 11/13
Format:Paperback ; ebook

A land whose name is no longer remembered, in a time no longer recalled. Five spinner rings, inlaid with crystals, and fashioned from precious metals and lodestone are sent out into the world by the Ancients, to be summoned by the presence of the one with the mark of a Quintspinner.

West Indies, 1718. Tess Willoughby and William Taylor have lived through worse times: they didn’t drown in the shipwreck that brought them to this island, and they survived a harrowing escape from the hands of a vicious pirate crew. So far they have prevented anything from separating them. But now, one fall from a ledge in the darkness of a cave has done just that.

Believing Tess to have died in the fall, and made reckless with his grief, William sets his sights on rescuing his friends from capture by a slave ship crew. Believing William himself has come to harm and has been forced to abandon her, Tess struggles to engineer her own rescue from the cave, using the powers of the three strange rings that she has obtained.

Driven to be reunited with William however, Tess stands to lose all things that have a value beyond that of any possessions–love, family, trust, happiness, and even her life–as unbeknownst to her, the remaining rings have awoken and seek to design her destiny, throwing both Tess and William into the path of a psychotic killer.

Tntexas | 404 comments Hey Dianne,

I tracked down your blog and snagged the cover from there. I also added a Kindle entry for the book. Does it have the same cover and publishing information as the paperback version or are any of the details for it different?

D.L. Kruse | 7 comments Same cover, same details. Thank you SO much for your help. I would also like to have the editions combined for another novel of mine, Quintspinner - A Pirate's Quest and would like to have the latest cover for it showing (the one with the girl's face on it) rather than the gray cover with the woman pirate's silhouette. The new cover is also on my blog:

Could you do this for me as well? Thank you in advance! -Dianne

Tntexas | 404 comments I've added the cover and publishing details to the Kindle entry of Deadly Misfortune.

As for Quintspinner, it looks like the new cover has already been added for the Kindle and paperback entries. If you want to make one of them the default cover for the book, you'll need to follow the directions found here. Librarians can't set default editions; only authors can.

D.L. Kruse | 7 comments Hello, I have another book that I would like to add. Its info is as follows:
1. Title: The Camping Guy: A Short Story
2. Author: Dianne Greenlay
3. ISBN: 978-1482518153
5. Publisher: CreateSpace
6. Publication Date: February 11 2013
7. Format: Soft Cover; ebook
8. Description: “I opened my business magazine, and that’s when I saw the ad.

Executive De-stressing. Get away from it all.
Guided one-on-one wilderness camping.
Our motto is “If you’re not living on the edge,
You’re taking up TOO MUCH ROOM!”
Call Earl – the Camping Guy!

So I did, and I signed up on the spot. I’d never been camping before. I was really looking forward to it and Earl – well, Earl, he was quite the guy.”

Reminiscent of television’s and theater’s The Odd Couple, The Camping Guy follows the misadventures of Earl, an experienced woodsman, and Johnson, his inept city slicker client, as they spend a camping weekend in the wilds of the Rockies. What was intended to be a de-stressing weekend soon turns into a distressing one, as these two mismatched campers find themselves engaged in unintended and hilarious situations.

Male bonding has never been more funny, nor more DANGEROUS!

9. Cover: jpeg can be found here:

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.
