name the book...please

i read a book a couple of years ago and cannot recall the name of it. it was about some high school students who go on a retreat/field trip to some place in the woods. somewhere nearby there is a military installation that opens a portal to hell or something like that which unleashes hordes of demons. the students battle these demons and win. i wish i could provide more details. i don't know why this jumped into my mind, but it is absolutely KILLING me that i cannot remember the name. it wasn't a great book, just a time filler while traveling around. it was a horror comedy. i have googled so many things trying to find the name. i recall a chainsaw being used to kill demons. somebody...please put my mind at rest.
