After reading OES I have to say I'm more Team Javier! The cheating is my limit but everything else was awesome! I know there is really no good reason to cheat but just hoping it wasn't as it seemed or he can be redeemed some how. Can't wait for the next book.

Me too. I'm going to re- read them both again. She certainly got more gutsy in SAN and I liked that. There was just something a bit creepy about Javier and the way he turned when she was dressed up to go out. It spooked me. I felt more of a connection with Camden and Ellie but that might have been because she was older and he was so different to Javier and the sex was hotter. Javier talked dirty and I felt theirs was more lust and obsession than love. That's why I need to read them again. Camden, Camden I so want you to fight for Ellie till the end

Agreed, but like you said, she was in High School, she was still a kid - and a insecure one at that - and Camden was the only friend she had and she cared for him. She has more history with Camden than she does Javier, but that also doesn't negate the fact that she did have strong feelings for Javier.
But when you start wrong, you cannot end right.
I will hold my thoughts now because I still need to read this one .. And head is spinning already

I respectfully disagree. He protected her while she was with him and under his control. If she screwed him over (which she already did, when she ran away) and/or told him she was done with him for real - no waffling - I think all bets would be off.

I find Camden a lot more interesting than this labor law issue they're arguing about.
I'm so curious what he was doing those 6 years after she left? Was he so depressed & checked out about the baby and finally wake up and see what he lost or did he find out who she was and want revenge. I think I'm obsessed I can't stop thinking about it.
I think he did a full on research and background check on her in those 6 years

I would also love to see Javier POV. I love Javier! Camden and Javier do different things for me. I'm sorry, but I love them both! I know Javier does bad things but like I told my friends, it's no different than watching a movie where a good guy does bad things. I'm not saying Javier is necessarily a good guy,but I do feel like Javier did love Eden/ Ellie. And like Manda, I agree that Ellie might have been Eden w/ Javier but she was Ellie with him in my eyes.

It really showed how ignorant Eden was and that she was someone completely different than Ellie we know from S&N. I am going to re-read S&N too, I loved Ellie much better there than in OES

I agree. I admit that I am torn about who to choose but I do think Ellie and Javier were in love. yes,it was a twisted love but it still was love,IMO

IMO, they were definitely in love. Sometimes, we don't always choose who we fall in love with, it just happens. Emilia, we know all about that in TO.
Is there a team Camden and Javier? LOL. I see it like this, if she chooses to change her life then be with Camden. If she decides to stay a grifter, then be with Javier. Honestly, I'm so damned confused I don't what the hell I want..lol I'm just so f'n confused. Lol
