Kaje Harper | 16667 comments OMG - Limericks :)

Is it correct to say that although not all Silver titles are acceptable for YA, the publisher's Facebook page and the linked blog are? Because that's our rule for adding active links in this group.

If one or the other is not, I'd appreciate editing to remove the link.

Kaje Harper | 16667 comments (not an actual entry :) - yes, those go on the linked sites

The mathematician, Charles Babbage*
Enjoyed Irish corned beef and cabbage
Such rich food for his brain
Was our long-lasting gain
But no doubt added to the man's flabbage.

*inventor of the Difference Engine, the father of modern computing, and hence of ebooks, but somewhat portly (and yes, I am a nerd :)

Kaje Harper | 16667 comments Thanx - although it technically doesn't qualify - I used the phrase "corned beef" not "corn beef" because that doesn't sound right to me. :)

Byron (byft) | 1060 comments I have to say I've only ever heard it called "Corned Beef" ... but that might be my fathers ability to corrupt even the most basic of English into that language called Stryne... :)

Hey By - that's very cool; you know me, I could go on until the cows come home, but I couldn't resist the lure of rhyming with "cabbage". :)
