I love the library!! Get sooo many books and it's free!!! Love walking out with 20 books and not going broke!! Just remember to take them back in time!!!

I hear ya...I try so hard to not return books late because I know that I hate waiting for a book that I desperately want to read and the person that has it out brings it back late....So I always feel guilty when I take a book back late!!!
I have a terrible record at my library too, for returning books late... Somehow I end up forgeting on the day its due and end up taking it back 1 or 2 days late. But I really try to make it right, because they have a horrible punishment: they don't make us pay a fee, they "ground us" to being unable to request a book for a minimum period of a WEEK. :O I am currently in the middle of a grounding session. =/ *hangs head in shame*
Woah! That's harsh. I'm quite good with getting books back to the public library on time, but the fees I racked up at the university library as an undergrad... Yikes!Aprox £1 per day late for each book. I had to pay over £20 when returning a single batch of books on at least two ocassions while I was there.

I haven't borrowed from the uni library. Firstly there isn't a fiction section (none that I found anyway) and also I haven't needed books for my studying. The library is so huge though, I have probably seen 2% of it.

Right Angela's Ashes finished. Now I might read something light and fluffy and let my brain cool down.
I would be soo lost if I couldn't request a book!! Our library is really good...as long as the fine is under 10 dollars you can pay in installments and they still let you borrow books!!!

Though a few months back they did this thing where for some unknown reason they cleared everyone's fines and I took full advantage of that!
Lol...yea they do that here too when they update the system...wish they would do that now.....sigh....10 dollars in late fees because of my stupid memory :{
Reading Outlander No 3.I now have about 5 library books awaiting reading from the list. Oooooohhhhh.........
Thank goodness I finished The Stone Angel number 32. Absolutely dreadful book. Avoid at all costs.
