GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Where Are You From?
You're right, the weather gets ever freakier, you can't predict anything anymore! We used to have pretty mild winters but for three years in a row now we had LOTS of snow and pretty cold temperatures (-10 during the day and up to -20 at night). Well, for us anyway, it's probably nothing compared to your winters. :)The region where I live is one of the warmest in Germany. But the last few summers where quite cool and rainy. Spring two years ago was fantastic, though. We had sunshine every day and almost no rain for two months. Very unusual as it ALWAYS rains in April here. The farmers were starting to get worried about their crops. But we had the best strawberries that year! :)
On the other hand 2003 and 2006 were record summers with temps up to 40 degrees. And I don't know how it is in Russia but here nobody has air condition in their house. Even the company that I work for didn't have a/c back then and due to the Rhine and Main rivers here it gets pretty humid. Everyone was miserable. I remember that we went to the movie theater every week because they had a/c and we could get out of the heat for a little while. :)

Hey guys I'm Jenaye from Melbourne, Australia. It's a lovely city best known for food, music and football.Don't be scared of Australia guys. It's harmless, you know, if you don't go outside...... Just kidding.
Seriously though It's pretty tame here. Australia is quite similar to America. We just drive on the other side of the road and shorten all of our words. :P
I'm from Amman,Jordan (middle east)
I am from a very small town in Ohio, on the north east side. I live exactly five minutes drive from the very, VERY small town I grew up in. I'm also about five minutes from my mom. Go figure.
I'm from Ontario, Canada. Near Toronto in the suburbs. It's been very bleak these past few days with lots of rain and wind. I'm still waiting for the weather to improve...

Yeah, we aren't the biggest state so I guess it follows that we can't have as many readers on here...or something. :) I'm near the U of O.

I'm from the west coast born in ca and raised in las vegas.. But i've been living in tennessee for a while now.. I miss the weather so much. It feels like you're walking through the heat here. For some reason i can't get used to it no matter how many summers i am here.
I spent the 1st 30 years of my life living in Corinth/Farmington, MS. I'm living in Trinity, AL now, and have been for the past 2+ years.
We are really multicultural. To sum up, we have Canada, US, Mexico, Puerto Rico, UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Sri Lanka, Australia, Philippines, New Zealand, Jordan, Russia. Ps. Hello from Poland, x

Two years ago in July we went to Belgium, Holland, Germany (!) and Mallorca, and it was about 10 - 12 C in continental Europe and only 28 on the island, and the same time here it was 30-35! So we don't know ourselves what to expect from our weather; it's sooo unpredictable!
Usually April and July are okay, but it depends! Come and see yourself :) and I'll see you around if you want.
