I’ll get it out of the way: Déjà Vu was written by my wife, Audriana Cristello, but trust me—I’m recommending it for reasons beyond marital obligation.

The novel’s short enough to breeze through, but its mood will linger much longer. Audriana’s storytelling bounces effortlessly between gritty, jazz-soaked evenings in 1960s New York and rain-drenched afternoons in 1990s Paris. Two separate love stories slowly spiral around each other, gradually revealing connections that are intriguing, romantic, and a bit unsettling.
