Edward laughed quietly at her look and stroke her hair softly.

She snuggled into him, watching the film.
Edward hugged her close with a soft smile.
Edward looked at her with a grin. "And how was it?"
Edward laughed quietly. "Yes, yes he did."
Edward grinned at her. "You did," he said. He knew he wasn't her real father.
Edward hugged her close. "I love you girly," he chuckled
Edward smiled and gently stroke her hair. "Where's mommy?"
"With other daddy. Packing" she frowned.
Edward kissed her forehead. "Mmm, I noticed. Could you get her?"
"Surrey" she said and skipped off.
Edward smiled and then waited. He needed to talk to her.
Edward patted the seat next to him.
Edward wrapped one arm around her. "Marie, I need to talk to you."
"Eliza wants to stay here," he said softly.
"I'm not going to do anything against her will."
"Look. I'm her mom, I make the decisions for her"
"She doesn't want to go with you," he said, crossing his arms.
Edward sighed. "You know.. you can stay here too," he murmured, leaning in a bit
"WHy not?" he asked, looking in her eyes.
Edward groaned and rested his head on her shoulder. "Marie..."
Edward sighed too. "But I love you, we both love Sam, we both love Eliza," he told her.
Edward glared in the direction of the door. "I'm sure they can find something else."
Edward held her close against him. "Yes."
Edward pulled her back. "Eliza wants us to be together too," he told her sternly.
"You do," he growled in her ear. He then realised he couldn't let her go.
"No," he told her sternly, holding her tight in his grip.
