James hugged her close. "I need to talk to you sweetie."

James kneeled by her side. "Do you love mommy?"
"Well, mommy is very upset," he said softly.
"Mommy wants you to stay with us. So do I," he said softly.
"Why not honey?" He asked softly. Her words hurt.
"I want to stay with my real daddy"
"Sweetie.. Edward isn't your real daddy," he said softly.
"He isn't," he told her softly, biting his lip.
"He is!" She said tears in her eyes.
James gently took her hand. "It's okay, he isn't but I'll be there for you."
James shook his head and hugged her softly.
She pulled away from him. "Leave me alone! I'm staying with my daddy!"
James gently pulled her back. "Shhh, it's alright."
She pulled away from him again. "Noooo!"
"Eliza.." he murmured, bitung his lip. "Please stay with us," he said softly.
"Eliza, we love you," he said softly.
"Don't you love us?" he asked, hurt.
James bit his lip. "Then why not?"
"Because I want to stay with daddy"
"He isn't your daddy," he told her, looking at her
"He is!" She said starting To cry.
"Come here sweetie," he told her softly.
"Eliza," he sighed. "Come here, only a hug," he murmured
"Please?" He muttered opening his arms.
James hugged her back softly yet tightly. He didn't want to let her go.

James closed his eyes and sighed too.
