"It's okay sweetheart don't cry," he said softly, holding her and Sam close.
Eliza just kept on sobbing into his shoulder. Edward sighed. "What did you tell her?" he asked Marie.
"She's convinced she's staying with Edward"
((Lol he's sitting there XD))Edward nodded. "I know, she asked."
((Oops! I thought James said that))"You know she can't"
((Nope lol XD))"And why not?" he objected, holding Eliza close.
"Because she isn't your daughter!"
"She wants to stay with me," he told her with a frown.
"So, I'm not objecting, I love her," he murmured, holding the crying Eliza close.
"Well I am objecting. She's not staying here"
Eliza shook her head. "I am," she sobbed. Edward bit his lip and held her close.
"I'm sorry sweetie but I'm not letting you"
Eliza clutched onto Edward and hid behind his back. Edward bit his lip. "No," Eliza said stubbornly.
((Other one?))Edward sighed as well. "I'm not going to object to her. She can do what she want to me," he told Marie. Eliza nodded eagerly and held onto his arm.
"Well I'm her mom. She's coming with me"
Eliza shook her head. "I'm staying with daddy," she said stubbornly, frowning cutely. Edward remained silent.
She groaned in frustration and went to finish packing.
Eliza hugged James tightly to her. Edward hugged her back softly. "I love you daddy." "I love you too," he murmured.
She clenched her jaw and finished packing.
((OOPs I meant Edward in that first one lol))Edward smiled at her. "Do you want to hold Sam, don't worry, I'll help you," he told her. Eliza nodded and opened her arms gently. Edward helped her and smiled at the sight of them.
"James?" She called out. ((I didn't even notice XD))
((Lol XD))James walked over to Marie. "What is it?" he asked.
James frowned. "Of course not!" he said, caressing her cheek and looking at her with concerned eyes.
"We'll I've abandoned 2 Of my kids now and one of then doesn't
"What do you mean Marie? Of course you haven't," he said softly.
"What happened with Olivia wasn't your fault,' he murmured.
"You couldn't do any different," he said softly.
"And Eliza doesn't even want to stay with me"she began to cry.
James stroke her hair softly. "I'm sure we can talk her out of it honey," he said softly.
She cried into his chest. "I'm a terrible mother"
James held her close. "No you're not of course you're not," he told her sternly.
"You aren't. Eliza loves you. She's just confused," he told her sternly, holding her protectively in his arms.
James held her close, stroking her back soothingly.
James nodded and pulled away. "Eliza?" He called out.
"Can you come here sweetie?" He asked.
