Edward stroke her hair softly.
Edward sighed and kept stroking her hair while he watched her.
Edward hummed a quiet tone and played with her hair.
Edward looked at her. "What?" he asked, smiling softly.
Edward nodded. "I'm just sad we can't," he sighed. "Shall I get Sam? I think I can try to get him back," he grinned.
Edward nodded and then gently moved so she wasn't in his arms anymore. He walked out of the room and asked where he would find his son.
Edward got pointed to a room. He watched as the nurses took care of Sam. He knocked and was allowed in. "Can I please get him back? Are you finished?" he asked eagerly. One of the nurses nodded and gave him Sam. He smiled and nodded, then left the room.
She got changed back into her clothes, she knew she wouldn't be able to see Sam again, after all, they would leave sam with Edward, she knew that in the future if thy stayed in touch that Edward would want another child, she couldn't put her family in danger like that.
Edward gnawed on the inside of his cheek as he watched his cute son. He looked a lot like Marie. He had her eyes. He smiled a bit and then walked back to the room. "Hey, here he is."
She smiled softly and took him in her arms. "Thanks"
Edward smiled and sat down next to her again, watching them. "I got him pretty easily," he chuckled.
Edward smiled at him. He rubbed the back of his neck. "So, when are you allowed to go out of here?"
Edward nodded at her. "Do you want to go now?"
Edward smiled softly. "Come on then."
Edward gently took her hand in one of his.
She sighed, holding Sam in her other arm.
Edward got outside with her and opened the door of his car for her.
Edward got in herself and started the car.
Edward smiled at them and then drove them home.
Edward got out of the car when they got home, and opened the door for her and Sam again, smiling.
Edward walked in after her. James looked up when he heard a door. "Marie?"
James walked towards her and saw the boy, so innocent, so much like Marie but also like Edward. He had to look away.
James sighed. "It's not your fault," he said softly, stroking her hair.Edward got a red daze when James did that, but he tried to ignore it.
James did half a smile and then glanced at Edward. He cleared his throat at the glare he gave him. "I should probably go back to the kids.."
James kissed her softly, ignoring Edward. Then, he moved back and walked back outside, towards Eliza and Shane.Edward held back a growl.
Edward wrapped one arm around her waist and kissed Sam's forehead.
"Are you okay?" he asked her softly.
