Edward sighed. "Will you forgive me then?" he asked softly.

Edward smiled softly. "Okay."
"You'll let us go?" She said, wanting his word.
"I will," he said softly, looking away.
Edward nodded, letting out a defeated sigh. He felt like he had just done the hardest thing in his life.
"Are you better now?" he asked hesitantly.
"Physically? No. Emotionally? Yes. "
Edward nodded and gently squeezed her hand. "Okay."
The pain got worse and worse and worse.
Edward held her hand tightly, biting on his lip, nervous.
She groaned in pain. "Stupid baby" she mumbled.
Edward breathed in sharply but held back.
"He definitely hurts more" she said.
Edward blinked and looked at her. "No?"
"You can't be blamed for what size the baby is"
Edward huffed a laugh. "I guess not."
Edward kissed her cheek. "Is it getting worse?" he asked, concerned.
Edward played with her fingers, trying to distract her.
Edward sighed and brought her hand up, kissing it softly.
Edward held her hand tightly and frowned. He didn't like seeing her in this pain. A nurse hurried in.
"Just breathe in deeply honey," the nurse told her. Edward nodded and held her hand tightly.

Edward watched her and their son, smiling softly. He was so happy. He really felt elated.
She was still in pain though, breathing heavily but staring at their child.
Edward sat on the edge of the bed and stroke her hair softly. He pressed his lips against her forehead. "Thank you."
Edward took her hand. "Are you alright?"
Edward nodded and placed another kiss on her forehead. He looked at their son lovingly. "How should we call him?"
Edward bit his lip, thinking.
"How about... Lucas?" he suggested. "Or Sam?"
Edward smiled softly and kissed Sam's forehead. "Than he'll be Sam."
Edward laughed softly as Sam yawned cutely. "He's amazing."
