"Do you need anything?" he asked her softly.

Edward nodded, gnawing on the inside of his cheek.
Edward was really worried about her. He was wondering if she had pain, but he knew she was too stubborn to tell.
Edward held her hand softly in his. "Are you okay?" he asked softly.
"Does it look like it?!?!" She snapped.
Edward blinked. "Sorry, sorry, do you need anything?" he asked hastily.
Edward nodded and let go of her hand, standing up and walking out to find a doctor.
Edward called for a doctor and he walked in with him as he walked back into the room.
"How are you doing Marie?" the doctor asked her, walking over to her.
She just glared. "I'm fine, I'm walking on sunshine right now" she said sarcastically.
The doctor laughed softly at her sarcasm. Most women were like that. "Do you want a anesthesia?"
Edward sighed and sat down on the chair again. The doctor nodded. "I will get a nurse to do it, hold on for a minute."
A nurse came in with a syringe. "Sit with your back straight honey," she told her, walking over to Marie.
Edward held her hand softly, biting his lip. The nurse sighed and injected her.
Edward squeezed her hand softly as the nurse told her what the injection would do. The nurse left.
Edward sighed. "It will, after a while," he told her.
"Nope. Your forgetting I've done this before"
Edward gnawed on his cheek. "Oh yeah. But did you have an injection then?"
"And it didn't work?" he asked softly.
"And do you think it will this time?" he bit his lip.
Edward stroke her hand softly. "It'll be okay."
"You don't have to push a baby out of you though" she snapped.
Edward groaned. "I know! I'm just trying to help you!"
Edward sighed too. "Look, I just want you and our baby to be okay."
Edward sighed and watched her. "What?"
"Will you let us go after the baby is born? After all that's the only reason you need me"
Edward bit his lip and thought about his. Could he do that?
