"I missed you too," he said softly, holding her tightly. "Mommy wants to see you."

Marie went back upstairs, she took the bandages of her wrist and started doing it again. "Where is she?" She said, since she hadn't seen her in two weeks like Shane.
"Upstairs," he said softly, starting to carry her up.
She started to cry again, "I'm a terrible mother. I'm a terrible mother" she kept repeating, doing it more.
He heard her and bit his lip. "Wait here," he said, placing her on the ground. He walked into the room and gasped. He grabbed the knide. "Marie?! Stop!"
"No!" he said, holding it back. "Why?" he asked, tears welling up in his eyes.
"I'm a terrible mother" she whispered, looking down.
"You aren't," he said softly, pulling her gently in his arms and holding her.
"I am" she nodded, crying. "Mommy?" Eliza said.
"You aren't," he said sternly. "Yes sweetie, come in," he told Eliza.
"Don't!" Marie said, not wanting Eliza to see her like this. Eliza started to cry again.
James wrapped her arms back up in bandages first and then pulled her sleeves over them. He kissed her tears away. "It's okay," he said softly. He stood up, went over to Eliza, picked her up and gently took her to Marie where he sat her on her lap.
Eliza hugged her tightly. She bit her lip and winced but hugged her tightly back.
James smiled softly, kissing both of their foreheads.
Marie cried softly into her hair. Eliza sobbed into her shirt.
"I'm sorry Eliza" she cried softly.
"Shhh," he soothed, rubbing her back gently.
He held them both close. "It's alright,' he soothed softly.
"Shall I get him?" he asked softly.
He walked downstairs and got Shane, who ran upstairs. He walked into the room and then sat down on the bed. Shane sobbed softly, standing unsurely in the doorframe, not knowing if she wanted to see him.
Shane sobbed softly, running forward and hugging his mommy tightly. "Mommy," he sobbed.
She hugged him tightly, crying softly too.
James bit his lip, watching. He stroke Eliza's hair.Shane sobbed heavily, hugging her tightly; he had missed her so much.
She kissed his head. "I'm so sorry Shane. Do you hate me?" She whispered.
Shane shook his head wildly. "No mommy I love you."
He hugged her tightly, sobbing into her shoulder.
"Do you hate me mommy?" he sobbed.
"No!" She said, hugging him tightly, "i love you Shane"
Shane nodded slightly, sobbing softly.
She kept hugging him and Eliza tightly.
James smiled softly and hugged them all as well.
She sighed, things would never be the same again.
James kissed Marie's forehead softly.
James rubbed her back soothingly.
James held her close. "Do you.. want to go back?" he asked softly.
