"He found our.. my house," he said, rubbing his forehead. "And when he left I followed his scent."
"He told me about what he saw," he said softly, biting his lip.
He kissed her forehead. "I know."
He held her softly, rubbing her back soothingly.
"Of course you're not," he soothed
He shook his head sternly and kissed her tears away. "You were just upset."
He held her softly, rocking her back and forth; whispering soothing words.
"Shall I get them?" he asked softly. He wanted to see Eliza as well.
"I'm going to clean up first, I think they would be scared if they saw all this blood"
He nodded. "Want me to help?" he asked softly.
He gently picked her up and walked to the bathroom.
He bit his lip and gently sat her down on the edge of the tub.
He grabbed a first aid kit and began to clean the cuts.
"Sorry," he mumbled, cleaning her other wounds and then gently bandaging them.
He kissed her cheek softly. "Are you ready now?"
He nodded and led her back to the bedroom.
She got changed, picking something that was long sleeved. Also wearing jeans to hide the cuts on her legs, then putting a scarf on to hide the slits on her neck.
He bit his lip as he watched her. He understood.
"Come on," he said softly, taking her hand.
He held her hand softly as they walked out of the room.
He walked after her, gnawing on the inside of his cheek.
Sowwy!!He looked around for the kids.
Eliza sat with Anna and Liam, crying softly.
"Eliza?" He asked softly, walking into the living room; his heartbreaking.
"Daddy!" She squeaked, running To him, hugging him tightly.
James hugged her back tightly, biting his lip, holding back tears.
Eliza cried softly into his shirt, Marie stayed on the stairs, biting her lip.
James rocked her softly. "It's okay, it's okay."
Marie went back up the stairs, just looking t Eliza crying made her feel terrible again. "I missed you" she said.
