Has anyone else noticed the number of grammatical errors in grade school textbooks? I've even seen factual errors. It concerns me, because kids are learning grammar by seeing what's in print.

Hadn't seen the grammar errors, but a few years ago my husband checked a science text (6th grade) for our son's teacher, and found a couple of factual errors and several poorly stated/misleading bit--and that was just in the pages on meteorology. I'm still trying to figure out how to reform the industry.

It's not just grade school books. One of my college algebra books had a lot of errors in the answer key. I found one and was so confused I had to ask my teacher to verify that I was actually right and the book was wrong.
