Hadn't seen the grammar errors, but a few years ago my husband checked a science text (6th grade) for our son's teacher, and found a couple of factual errors and several poorly stated/misleading bit--and that was just in the pages on meteorology. I'm still trying to figure out how to reform the industry.

Laura Kearney (lskearney) | 3 comments It's not just grade school books. One of my college algebra books had a lot of errors in the answer key. I found one and was so confused I had to ask my teacher to verify that I was actually right and the book was wrong.
