Jake chuckled. "Anything else you want to eat? I promise I won't ruin it for you."
"Ice cream?" She asked, sounding sad.
"There are some kind of gross flavors but ice cream is pretty good otherwise." He said, glad she hadn't said marshmallows.
She nodded, "I'm guessing we don't have any?"
"Nope. Unless Darla wants to poof some up." Jake said.
Luna looked at Darla, wondering if she had heard.
"It's gotta come from somewhere guys, you willing to steal a carton of ice cream?" Darla asked.
Luna bit her lip wile shaking her head.
"It might come for camp though so it wouldn't really be stealing then." She added.
Luna gasped, "really!?"
"I don't know for sure to be honest." Darla said with a shrug.
She nodded, trying to stay calm, "should we try?"
"If you really want me to." She said.
She bit her lip, "will we get in trouble?"
"How will they know it's us?" She asked with a giggle.
Luna smiled, "true."
"I'm gonna do it, any request for flavor?" She said.
"Chocolate!" She smiled brightly.
"Chocolate it is then." Darla said and her pinkie twitched. A carton of chocolate ice cream appeared and fell in Jake's lap.
Luna gasped, "your amazing Darla!"
"I know." She said with a giggle while Jake quickly moved the ice cream out of his lap.
Luna took the ice cream with a big grin.
"And... spoons." Darla said as spoons appeared.
Luna gasped, "your so amazing!"
Darla giggled again and passed out spoons to everyone.
Luna smiled and took the spoon. She opened the ice cream.
Darla sat on the other side of Luna and scooped out a spoonful.
Luna slowly ate some ice cream.
After they had eaten nearly half the carton Darla yawned and said goodnight to everyone then wet to bed.
Luna went to bed too.
Jake stayed out under the stars, listening just in case someone tried to sneak up on them. Maybe he was just paranoid.
Luna fell asleep.
In the morning their fire was just a bunch of coals and the ice cream carton had been left out to melt.
Luna stretched and yawned.
"Morning!" Darla said cheerily.
Luna smiled, "hey, how was your rest?"
"Pretty good, I've always liked camping." She said.
Luna nodded, "I didn't camp much, but it's fun."
"Should we start packing up?" She asked.
She nodded and started packing.
Darla packed up the tent and accidentally woke Jake in the process.
Luna grabbed the left over melted ice cream, "what do we do with this?"
"Oops, I forgot to send it back." She said with a wince. "I guess we just throw it away."
Luna frowned, "aww, the pore ice cream.."
"Even if we refreeze it, it won't be the same." Darla said sadly.
She nodded sadly, "maybe the animals will like it melted?"
"I doubt it but you're welcome to give it to them." Jake said groggily, rubbing his eye with the palm of one hand.
Luna nodded and put it on the ground.
"Everybody ready?" Darla asked, chipper as ever.
