"Jana it's getting dark. Soon we won't be able to see the path." Jake called after her.

"C'mon just a little bit furthur! I don't think he's going to be in the same spot for too long." Jana insisted."Besides, we have a witch! And I did bring flashlights. Just a little furthur ahead, I think there is clearing where we can camp out." Jana said and turned speed-walking in the direction of the compass.
"The spell isn't going to lead us to the spot he was in, it's going to lead us straight to him no matter where he is." Jake said, looking back at Darla to make sure he had gotten it right. She nodded and he continued. "But I guess we could go a little farther."
Luna ignored everyone and cleared a spot for a red able sized tent. She threw sticks and large pebbles out of the way to make room.
"I take it we're stopping for a bit." Darla said, giggling a little.
Jana huffed and slumped her shoulders in defeat."Well then, do what you want. But, the more time we waste, the further away he'll get, meaning it'll take us longer to reach him... Just sayin'." Jana said.
"Ill go find some firewood. Make it seem like a real campout." Jana said, itching to change and go for a run.
Luna smiled, "is this an okay spot?" She asked as she waved her hands around to gesture to the spot she had cleared.
Jana nodded once at Luna and changed into a grey wolf in a shower of dazzling sparkles.She shook her body, whipping her grey fur and pounced in the opposite direction to camp.
She glided through the woods, enoying the feeling of the wind. the trees wizzed past in a blur and she stopped when she finally reached a clearing.
She looked up at the waning moon and howled. She meadow was illuminated brightly by moonlight, I think I actually like this place. Hmmm should've camped out here.
On second thought, maybe not. I easily ran a few miles, I dont think the rest of them could have walked for so long.
After basking in the moonlight, Jana gathered some wood and headed back. This time she travelled at a slower pace, enjoying the scenery.
"Finally! About time you came back." Jake announced, upon spotting her.
"I was only gone a couple of minutes." Jana replied.
"You guys finished with the tent?" Jana asked, dumping the firewood on the ground. She tossed a few pebbled and various rocks around making a border around the wood.
"Yup, we did!. It looks great don't you think?" Luna said gesturing to the grand 'tent' behind her.
It looked more like the size of a small caravan than a mediocre camping tent that Jana was aquianted with.
"And just in time too!" Darla chimed.
Jake suddenly realized he was with three girls.... The odds of him being welcomed in the tent were slim to none. Awesome.
"Well, great work guys. Darla, if you could, somehow spontanously combust this firewood for me..." Jana said, gesturing at the pile of wood."Huh? Oh right. Sure!" Darla replied, walking up to the pile. Her lips moved as she murmured a spell and her pinkie twitched. At first nothing happened, then the flames erupted from the logs.
"Ok guys, we have... Fire!" Jana announced. "Now, who wants s'mores?"
"Why do you have stuff to make s'mores?" Jake questioned.
"Because! It is an important part of any campers diet!" Jana said. "...Wait, do we even have any marshmallows?"
"So you didn't bring it." He observed dryly.
"I never said that! Ok, well then, Darla can teleport some from my cabin." Jana said, "Hey, Darla! Can you do some witchy spell to get us some marshmallows from my cabin?" Jana asked.
"I can try. Usually we don't get to pick where things come from unless there is only one." She said contemplatively. She shrugged and did the spell. A half gone bag of marshmallows appeared in the air and started falling to the ground.
"Oh!" Jana gasped and caught it quickly. "Thankyou Darla! Here," she said, handing couple of marshmallows to Darla to roast. She walked up to Jake, and said, "Here." handing him a single marshmallow.
She huffed and turned to Luna, handing her a couple of marshmallows too, before settling next to the fire and began roasting her own.
"Gee Jana, wanna share more equally with the rest of us?" Jake asked when she gave him one then hoarded the rest of the bag.
Luna giggled at Jana and Jake, "play nice children," she said in a motherly voice, just to bug them.
"You're younger than I am!" Jake said, at least he was pretty sure she was. He was 17 and as far as he knew she was 16.
"Well, physically maybe, but mentally she sure is a lot older than you are, Jake. I think we all are, I bet even Nyx is." Jana said laughing. Jake rolled his eyes and shaking his head.Luna giggled, "I think Jana has a ppoint there."
"Yeah yeah yeah, pick on the only male here. I'm drowning in estrogen you know." He said.
Luna giggled, "behind every grate man is a grate woman. You got three, that makes you three times the man anyone else is," she said with a smile.
"Oh cmon Jake, we'll find John, aka fake-Oliver soon enough, then you guys can be the best of freinds... In the meantime, I'm sure there are some animals you can make friends with in the forest." Jana said popping a s'more into her mouth."Mmmm... these are delicious." she commented and Darla nodded in agreement.
"Um, Luna. I think you mean boy, or little kid. Not man." Jana grinned.

Luna tried to smile for him, she wished Felicia was still here, "well, were just gonna have to do for the time being."
"Hey! Ia int standin behin no dude! I, Jana-Lee Stuart, am always in front!" Jana said, "Sorry Jake, guess you only have 2 girls behind you."
"Poor Caleb." He said, ignoring her apology as he shook his head.
"Well, Caleb will just have to adjust." Jana said.
Darla giggled. "So Caleb is your boyfriend?" She asked Jana.
A slight blushed appeared on Jana's cheeks and she shrugged."Hmmm... Maybe." she said.
"A moment of silence for our brother in the friendzone." Jake announced.
"Oh shutup. He's not in the friendzone." Jana said rolling her eyes.
"So he is your boyfriend? I bet that will be great news for him." Jake said. Darla wisely stopped talking.
Luna giggled at the two of them and looked at Darla, "are you enjoying this as much as I am?" she asked, she hadn't laughed this much in days, it was exactly what she needed.
"Yeah yeah. Whatevr. Im sure he knows. Anyways. What aout you Darla?" Jana asked.
"I totally am." Darla whispered to Luna the squeaked when Jana turned her attention from Jake. "What about me?" She asked nervously.
"Any 'love-interest' or a crush... snce we seem to be on that topic." Jana said, with air quotes around 'love interest'.
She shook her head vigorously while Jake held back a groan, feeling like a gay friend.
Luna fall on her back laughing, Jana was making everyone feel uncomfortable. she was slightly frightened to see what she would ask her, but was to busy enjoying the moment to care right now.
"Well, nice to see someone is enjoying themselves." Jana commented. "Whoa easy there." she said, when Luna almost tripped
"Can we not talk about boys? Please?" Jake asked.
"Ok." Jana agreed quickly, since this was going to be awkward soon
"Thank you. I was seriously starting to feel gay there." Jake said.(I don't have anything against gay people, one of my best friends is gay!)
(yes i understand)Jana laughed, "Well, that would have been awkward."
"Yeah. No one wants to see that." Jake agreed.
Luna sat back up, still giggling slightly.
"So..."
"So, about the tent.." Jake started. "Where is everyone sleeping?"
Luna shrugged, "how meany does it hold?" She asked curiously.
"It should be enough for at least six." Darla volunteered.
"Hmm. Well then I guess we should get some rest." Jana said.
