They start thinking to be failure in their lives. This book tells story of one of those immigrants.

It is life story of Jagtar. He is in his early sixties, has reached peak of his career as GS-14, mid-level management position, at an Army Base in New Jersey. With kids gone, he and his wife of 33 years are empty nesters in their large home in New Jersey. They have grown apart over the years. They sleep in separate bedrooms, as the wife lost interest in sex after menopause. Jagtar has become a grouchy old man. At work, he has fights with his much younger uniformed boss. In his social circle, he can not get along with younger but more successful, recent immigrants. At home, he has constant arguments and fights with his wife. All this leads to a deep depression. He starts thinking that he has been a complete failure in life. He thinks that his legacy after his death will be zero. Besides his kids, no body will remember him.

Some people buy Porsche or Mercedes to get over late midlife crisis, not Jagtar. He dreams of a radical plan of killing India’s Home Minister, who allegedly instigated riots against Sikhs after Indira Gandhi’s murder in Delhi. He thinks a glorified trial and death sentence by hanging in India will make him a martyr in history books like Bhagat Singh, who killed a British Officer to avenge Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.

The story takes the reader on a journey from Jagtar’s birth in India, his struggles with corruption in India, his immigration to USA, his struggles of his early life in USA, raising of his two kids, his emotional struggles due to changes in his wife. One day on impulse he decides to go to India and put his plan in to action. He faces numerous problems, he never thought of in his plan. The book takes the reader through, how he becomes a pawn in game of international political chess and gets caught in corrupt Indian system. Will he succeed in becoming a hero?

“Of course, Larry,” Jason replied with a knowing smile as he let himself be swept up in a group of bright, young things currently appearing in the umpteenth revival of a legendary Frank Loesser musical.
As soon as Broadway’s most illustrious producer was out of sight, Larry made a beeline for the door.
Once downstairs, he hailed a passing taxi. He knew that his sudden departure hadn’t gone unnoticed. Madeline, after all, was the guest of honor, the star of the latest revival of ‘Private Lives,’ which had closed tonight after a successful run that had drawn raves for both star and production, but sadly, his wife’s ‘little problem’ had caught the attention of insiders in the industry. There wasn’t much the Broadway theater gossip-mongers held sacred.
There was hardly any traffic on the 20-block ride to East 36th Street. Larry unlocked the gate to Sniffen Court and walked swiftly to their townhouse at the end of the mews. He could hear Madeline’s moans the moment he opened the door. He rushed upstairs to find her lying on the carpet next to their bed.
“What happened, darling?” he asked. Not the brightest question, of course. An empty bottle of Prosecco and an almost-empty pill bottle lay sprawled next to his beautiful wife, who was weeping softly and looking appropriately mortified. “Oh God, Larry, I’m so sorry. Bradley dropped me off at about 10:40. I started to get dressed but I needed a little drinkie,” she said coyly.
“Or maybe three or four little drinkies, and a little pillie or two or three…”
