When writing I listen to either my computer playlist or I listen to "stations" I created in pandora.com. It is a cool site because you can choose and artist that you like and create "stations" with that artist's music and other artists of the same music type.
Wouldn't THIS be a vampire smiling wide: XDE haha. because this XF is a vampire missing one of their fangs. XD

Usually, to put me into a certain mood, I'll listen to music as I write. What I write affects what music I listen to, and vice versa. I normally prefer anything without lyrics because if I know the lyrics to the song I'm listening to, I may subconsciously write them down randomly as I type/write.On my current project, I've been listening to the soundtracks for "Requiem for a Dream," "The Host," "The Phantom of the Opera (1989 and 2004 versions)," and "Monster" the most. There's also the ending theme to "Paranoia Agent" I listen to, and a few tracks from the "Descents of Darkness" soundtrack, in the mix.
I usually listen to music if I remember to. I don't have iPod speakers (a tragedy =/ ), so I have to keep on replaying the music from the computer every five minutes. Sometimes that gets a little annoying though. I can't listen to anything that isn't really scream-y or loud. I like listening to "Simple and Clean" by Utada Hikari and also a lot of Yiruma's songs like "River Flows in You" and "Kiss the Rain". They don't have words-just piano- but it's really pretty, none of that Bach/other fancy piano that gets kind of tiresome... always reminds me how much I suck at piano. XDBy the way, does anyone know where you can get those stuffed animal iPod speakers and how my they cost? I'm too cheap to buy the good speakers...
