"Can we, Boss?" Arry and Bert asked.
Diesel 10 thought about it. "Fine. Go ahead."
Diesel 10 thought about it. "Fine. Go ahead."
Diesel was disappointed.
"Really," Diesel 10 said.
"Really," Diesel 10 said.
Diesel 10 laughed. "Who, me? No, no, I'm just an evil diesel who chooses to do good at my leisure."
Diesel 10 looked oddly sheepish, glancing around to hide it.
Diesel sighed quietly.
Arry and Bert couldn't help grinning.

Arry and Bert couldn't help grinning.
Diesel 10 inched forward and picked her up with his claw before setting her gently on the ground.
Diesel 10 blushed slightly, which he found to be quite annoying, so he quickly composed himself. "Yeah, sure, no problem."
Arry and Bert and Diesel smirked. They had never seen Diesel 10 like this.

Arry and Bert opened the door of the smelter for her to exit.
Diesel 10 hoped Arry and Bert and Diesel didn't really see his blush.

Diesel 10 stood beside her, looking through the open doors at the night outside.
Diesel 10 gently picked Annie up and set her on his front. He then started slowly and smoothly forwards out the door, with the rest of the diesels following. "I might as well come just in case something goes bump in the night," he cackled.
"Yeah, if any monsters make some noise and lets us know they're here, if there are any. But they won't stand a chance," Diesel 10 said as he went slowly and smoothly out into the night with Annie on his front. "I'll destroy them just like I did that other one."
"I will," Diesel 10 cackled maniacally. "And I will have fun doing it, too. I like being the protector. It gives me pride as the hugest, strongest diesel on the island."
Diesel 10 peered down at her. "What?"
Diesel 10 looked back up ahead at where he was going and didn't say a word for a while.
Diesel 10 gave a slight smile that was a little more genuine as he purred on the tracks across the night.
The other diesels followed close behind.
The other diesels followed close behind.
"I'm sure it's this way," Diesel 10 said, turning right onto a line where a lot of houses were.
As the diesels continued on, all four of them were starting to feel unsure as well. Diesel 10 was starting to wonder exactly where they were. It was awfully dark out.
"Don't tell me that I'm going the wrong way..." Diesel 10 muttered to himself. "Bah! Curse the darkness!"
The line of houses ended as a forest came into view. The diesels headed into it.
The diesels rolled through the misty forest, going deeper and deeper into it. Diesel 10 was not afraid, and neither were Arry and Bert. But Diesel, on the other hand, was.
Diesel shivered nervously. "Uh, is this really necessary?"
"I don't know," Diesel 10 murmured, frowning thoughtfully.

Diesel 10 could feel her shaking, and he glanced down at her.
"What do you ask for? Comfort?" Diesel 10 asked.
"Feel free to hop inside my cabin," Diesel 10 said, gently picking her up with his claw and placing her in front of his door for her to step in. "It's nice and warm in there."
((Haha, thanks.))
Diesel 10 was indeed warm, especially in his cabin. He resumed starting forward.
