"Can we, Boss?" Arry and Bert asked.

Diesel 10 thought about it. "Fine. Go ahead."

message 253: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments her face lit up "really?"

message 254: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel was disappointed.

"Really," Diesel 10 said.

message 255: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she smiled. "Thank you! You are really nice train!"

message 256: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 laughed. "Who, me? No, no, I'm just an evil diesel who chooses to do good at my leisure."

message 257: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "You are nice" she insisted softly

message 258: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 looked oddly sheepish, glancing around to hide it.

Diesel sighed quietly.

Arry and Bert couldn't help grinning.

message 259: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she tried to get off Arry but was rather scared

message 260: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 inched forward and picked her up with his claw before setting her gently on the ground.

message 261: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments She smiled and pated his claw "Thank you"

message 262: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 blushed slightly, which he found to be quite annoying, so he quickly composed himself. "Yeah, sure, no problem."

Arry and Bert and Diesel smirked. They had never seen Diesel 10 like this.

message 263: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she smiled and pated him again before walking closer to his door

message 264: by [deleted user] (new)

Arry and Bert opened the door of the smelter for her to exit.

Diesel 10 hoped Arry and Bert and Diesel didn't really see his blush.

message 265: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she swallowed hard, it was dark

message 266: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 stood beside her, looking through the open doors at the night outside.

message 267: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "Scary..."

message 268: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 gently picked Annie up and set her on his front. He then started slowly and smoothly forwards out the door, with the rest of the diesels following. "I might as well come just in case something goes bump in the night," he cackled.

message 269: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "bump?" she repeated

message 270: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah, if any monsters make some noise and lets us know they're here, if there are any. But they won't stand a chance," Diesel 10 said as he went slowly and smoothly out into the night with Annie on his front. "I'll destroy them just like I did that other one."

message 271: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "Y-you will?"

message 272: by [deleted user] (new)

"I will," Diesel 10 cackled maniacally. "And I will have fun doing it, too. I like being the protector. It gives me pride as the hugest, strongest diesel on the island."

message 273: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "Will you...." she trailed offr

message 274: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 peered down at her. "What?"

message 275: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she shook her head

message 276: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 looked back up ahead at where he was going and didn't say a word for a while.

message 277: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she pated him again

message 278: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 gave a slight smile that was a little more genuine as he purred on the tracks across the night.

The other diesels followed close behind.

message 279: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "Which way home?" she whispered

message 280: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'm sure it's this way," Diesel 10 said, turning right onto a line where a lot of houses were.

message 281: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she bit her lip, unsure

message 282: by [deleted user] (new)

As the diesels continued on, all four of them were starting to feel unsure as well. Diesel 10 was starting to wonder exactly where they were. It was awfully dark out.

message 283: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she scowled

message 284: by [deleted user] (new)

"Don't tell me that I'm going the wrong way..." Diesel 10 muttered to himself. "Bah! Curse the darkness!"

message 285: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "im scared" she sniffed

message 286: by [deleted user] (new)

The line of houses ended as a forest came into view. The diesels headed into it.

message 287: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she froze and stared

message 288: by [deleted user] (new)

The diesels rolled through the misty forest, going deeper and deeper into it. Diesel 10 was not afraid, and neither were Arry and Bert. But Diesel, on the other hand, was.

message 289: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments Annie slowled down

message 290: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel shivered nervously. "Uh, is this really necessary?"

"I don't know," Diesel 10 murmured, frowning thoughtfully.

message 291: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she was shaking

message 292: by [deleted user] (new)

Diesel 10 could feel her shaking, and he glanced down at her.

message 293: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "Im scared"

message 294: by [deleted user] (new)

"So I see," Diesel 10 said.

message 295: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments "Please?"

message 296: by [deleted user] (new)

"What do you ask for? Comfort?" Diesel 10 asked.

message 297: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments she noded and pointed to his door

message 298: by [deleted user] (new)

"Feel free to hop inside my cabin," Diesel 10 said, gently picking her up with his claw and placing her in front of his door for her to step in. "It's nice and warm in there."

message 299: by Martina (new)

Martina | 743 comments ((nice picture. lol))

Annie smiled and hopped inside

message 300: by [deleted user] (new)

((Haha, thanks.))

Diesel 10 was indeed warm, especially in his cabin. He resumed starting forward.
