The diesels watched her get up.
"So we meet again, little one," Diesel said to her. "Only this time, I don't have that Salty to deal with."

But Diesel and Diesel 10 just laughed.
"Home?" Bert said.
"Where do you live?" Arry said. "Do you live here on this island?"

"Uh........" Diesel 10 interrupted Arry. "Arry, what are you doing?"
"Just talking to her, Boss. She seems interesting."

Diesel 10 spoke up. "Well, Annie, you might as well know that I am Diesel 10. And these are my two minions behind you, Arry and Bert. And this diesel beside me is Diesel."
"Hi," Arry and Bert said. They kind of liked Annie. They couldn't help it. Diesel and Diesel 10 were looking at them like they were crazy.
"Hmmmm......" Diesel 10 said thoughtfully. Then he reached down and picked her up with his claw and started forwards further into the smelter with her. The rest of the diesels followed close behind.
She hung like a rag doll, sobbing softly
Arry and Bert were watching her sob, and they both felt something in them they never felt before. "Uh, what exactly are you planning to do to her, Boss?"
"Still thinking," Diesel 10 cackled.

She covered her eyes and cried like a child.
As they neared the pit, Diesel 10 stretched out his claw and hovered her over it. "This is what you will be seeing should I decide to throw you in."
The fear paralised her. her breathing was racing
Then Diesel 10 set her right on top of Diesel, who smirked. Diesel 10 then started forward again, and the others followed, with Annie now on top of Diesel.
She wanted out of there. So she jumped
The diesels stopped right when they heard her jump. Diesel stopped when he felt her jump.
She fell to the ground with a loud yelp.
Arry and Bert were a bit shocked. "Uh, are you okay?"
Diesel 10 closed the doors of the smelter to prevent her from escaping.
"Obviously she's not okay," Bert said.
"Let's go help her," Arry said.
They wandered over beside Annie.
"Wait, we don't have a claw like our boss."
"So we can do nothing but stand by her."
Diesel sniffed.

She groaned a little, her eyes fluttered open and she managed to sit up.
Arry and Bert looked down at her with worried looks.
"Are you hurt, Annie?" Diesel purred slyly.

"But where, I wonder?" Diesel 10 mused, picking her up with his claw and looking her over.
She scowled in pain as he did, locking her arms and legs away from tbe pain.
"What hurts?" Arry and Bert asked in a more concerned tone.
"My arm and my legs" she cried, not even struggling anymore.
"So I can see," Diesel 10 mused. "You're scratched up." He set her down gently.
Her legs cannot hold her and she collapses to the ground, crying
Arry and Bert looked rather sad and sympathetic for the first time as they glanced down at her.
Diesel 10 wasn't sure what to make of this for now.

Arry sighed. "I feel so helpless sometimes." He didn't know how to help her because he couldn't, at least not as well as Diesel 10 could.

Diesel 10 stopped the turntable and crawled over to Arry and Annie. "Perhaps it would be no fun," he said as he opened his claw. A strange, black mist came out of his claw and settled on where Annie was hurt. The mist began to heal her.
