Well, two magazines by that name. And, I'm just venting.
The British one from publisher Future is going strong and with availability on iPad I can now afford to subscribe. (Kits and such included in print copy, of course, aren't included on digital subscription but the charts for the bonus materials are.)
The American one from Amos Publishing was discontinued. Subscriptions were transferred to the publisher's Crafts N Things magazine with the promise that it would be a more robust version of Crafts N Things that would include most of the patterns readers would have gotten. I had been subscribed to both; next couple of issues of Crafts N Tngs were thicker with a lot of cross stitch. Summer 2013 just arrived, thinner than it was before The CrossStitcher went defunct. Number of cross stitch patterns in issue 3 (well, one I don't count because suspiciously like the series they just did — that series had a contemporary bit of stemmed florals with an inspirational phrase and likely sponsored by DMC to introduce their color infusions 3D threads, bright nearly primary color blooms and black color infusions; this pattern has no inspirational phrase, contemporary blooms in same blue-looking petals, outlined with black color infusions — guess it will go nicely with the rest of series.)
*grumble* three whole patterns does not including a magazine make.
