Combining

Hey, I'm a new Librarian and I'm not really sure how to combine book editions. I had originally shelfed this edition of The Notebook as To-Read: (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...) and ended up reading this edition: (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...) It's the same book, just different editions, and I don't know how to combine them. Please help! :)

Then how come the first link shows in my book shelf's To-Read list, while the second one is in my Read list?

Because you shelved two editions of the book. You probably want to remove whichever one is the one you did not read.
