Charlotte leaned against a tree feeling like she was going to be sick. War. The word brought back terrible and gruesome memories and even with her eyes open all she could see was the carnage of the battlefield that left her and her brother to be orphans. She lost her lunch.
Juniper quietly slipped through the trees. She knew she had heard another fairy. A fairy who seemed to be distraught. She peeked around a tree, and saw Charlotte.
Charlotte looked up to see Juniper. She waved a bit and wiped her mouth. It wasn't exactly the best setting to be meeting someone new.
Juniper quickly ducked back behind the tree. She wasn't expecting Charlotte to see her. She slowly stepped back out from behind it."Um are you alright?" she asked.
"Just feeling a bit sick." She lied. Lying was natural to her and it was her truth. It felt safer to tell her truth.
"Do you need anything?" Juniper asked. She was used to taking care of others since she had taken care of her grandmother until her death not too long ago.
"I'm good on my own." She showed the emblem tattoo on her arm that proved she was a member of the royal guard.
"The reason we are over here is because I need to apologize to an Galalian for hitting her in the eye with a rock," said Nova. Library looked stunned at Nova. "THAT WAS YOU!?"
"Oh, yeah. Right." Juniper wasn't used to having much conversation with many other fairies. In fact, this was the first conversation that she had had with another fairy in a long time.

"Me, too," said Nova, in a weak voice. "I would like to apologize," she said, and gave her hand. Library slapped it away. "NEVER!"
Nova didn't know how to react. Library took of the cloth on her wings, revealing that they were torn, tattered, and had holes in them.
"NO! I WAS BORN LIKE THIS! I have never flown a day of my life." She pointed at her wrists. Her blood was a strange color. "That is an ailment which has prevented me from ever using magic."
"Well then.....shame on you, Nova for hitting this poor fairies eye! Doesn't she have enough problems?"
"In addition, the reason I wear all of these cloths is to prevent myself from being ridiculed because of my hideous appearance. Not only do people see my ugliness, but they lie in my face in it!" said Library. "Listen, I am really, really-" Nova began, but was interrupted by Library. "No you aren't. Because you don't know what it is like to live like this. Along with my other failing capabilities, the losing of eyesight was just one thing in saving my life. You can go home today, and, with enough training, help yourself feel better and forgive yourself. But not me. Every single day, I will have to live like this. Every. Single. Day. You can't be sorry, because you don't know what it feels like."
"Deep." Warren said blandly. "So, um. You're not going to accept her apology. I see. What shall you do, Nova?"
"Whoa! Hey, can we not bring physical fighting into this? I don't want to have people getting hurt" He held his hand between Nova and the knife.
"I am seeking vengeance against you spoiled Eolarians. Think. There are rumors about the peace between Galal and Eolaria is getting thinner... if there is one Eolarian casualty from a Galalian... then a series of events will hopefully result in the outcome of one thing between the two sides: war. It doesn't matter which one of you I kill."
"A dagger. We don't want things to get messy. And I don't wanna hurt a girl. How about we just chill. Okay?"
"Ah" Warren muffled and quickly had Library on the ground, her own dagger pushed against her throat.
"I said I have never flown. I have extremely strong legs for a faerie," she said, and pushed up, and grabbed her dagger. She held it at Nova's throat, and got behind her."
Warren whipped out his dagger and threw it into Library's arm. With amazing accuracy it pierced the lower part.
His hand dripped blood from the wound. Warren scowled and drew an arrow for his bow. He pointed it at Library's head. "Let her go!"
"I'm going to get arrested anyway. If you kill me, which I do not care about, my reflexes with simply kill the girl."
