I've learned to be careful of who you pick as your close friends. (Some people will only hurt you, but at the same time you need to let some people in.)

I've learned to be cautious about telling people about my favorite fandoms. (People often don't like them, and I shouldn't make them uncomfortable if I can help it.)

I've learned that my mother tries to put forth her best effort into following along with what I'm saying, even though most of the time she has no idea what I'm talking about. (I need to listen to what she has to say too, even if I don't really understand her.)

I've learned that sometimes you can't stop your best friends from fighting, but you shouldn't let their negativity to each other affect what you do with your life.

I've learned that haters are going to hate no matter what. (And that the best retort is usually to stay calm and use logic against them, not to rant back at them.)

Live and Learn to me means that you should live your life how you want, but there will always been people out there who hate you.


Haters gonna hate, it's just them.

You can't stop being friends from anything. You grow apart, but in their own way, they are always with you.
